Although our group rate at the hotel has expired, I booked 6 rooms (4 with 2 queen beds, 1 with 1 king) under my own name before the deadline. I can transfer these rooms to any players that may be interested. Priority will be given to those who are planning to stay at the hotel all three nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), as that will help reduce/eliminate the fee we need to pay for the playing room (but if you are interested in a room for just Saturday & Sunday night, let me know, as I may be able to accommodate you). 2. Madness format change: Due to the smaller number of players opting for Madness this year, the format has been tweaked as follows: Instead of playing a single 39 game tournament, Madness players will participate in the 21 game Mildness tournament as well as a separate 18 game wrap-around tournament, which will take place before and after the Mildness tournament and will follow a schedule similar to the original Madness schedule. Please contact Dan with any questions about this. 3. Madness will NOT be odd - Sam Austin is signing up contingent upon making us even, so he won't play if he would make us odd. 4. Mildness won't be odd either - director will play if necessary in order to ensure an even number of players.
