#note felt like F on the star worked best for getting the X hit the most - occasional I column plays can give back a hotspot, and Y hooks will give back better hooks than the F hooks (if he parallels), despite FAX. I also didn't like leaving the R on the star. If he plays through the Y, I will get underlaps, and the X is good for underlaps but not for overlaps, so playing Y on the star and hoping for through-F plays will not maximize the X as much.

#note The best exchange is tough. I decided on QNU? because i'm expecting 11 row plays next turn and QNU hits more 12a QU??N plays than QTU. Keeping NT? bingoes way more than any of the Q leaves and scores like 5+ more next turn, but my average leave is 8 worse since it bingoes so much. framed like this it sounds like bingoing is a bad thing, but really it's just that I score a lot when I don't bingo next turn (when I keep the QU? leaves), and will be able to score well and then bingo a lot.
Q much prefers keeping NQTU? or QTU?, mostly for added bingo %, which makes sense. NQU? felt less synergistic than the other two, I think I was too influenced by 12a plays, but that's really a small subset of what will happen next turn.
I didn't want to play G(O)X despite it being the obvious play. He averages 5 more raw next turn, but his plays are also a lot easier, and NQTU? is much better on a post-exchange board than post-GOX board.
The best simming play is actually GoX 11D for 33! Spending the blank for only 22 extra points is fine when I'm lowering his average score and when NQTU? is worse than usual.
I didn't consider GOX, and it's a really cool play, especially with the advantage of making him afraid I have a second blank. I'm a fan of making odd looking plays when the goodness is close. I should definitely do GoX or a different exchange.

#note tough play, I thought about NAE but thought better of it, which I really appreciate now. It is nice to get extra score when ahead, but EIU? is a more volatile leave than EIN? in a lot of ways, since EIU? goes way south a lot more often.
NAE also opens a really annoying lane that isn't always nice to block, especially with my vowel heavy leave next turn. The board is too open to really think about closing, and it's nice to not add a high scoring lane like the O column, and equally nice to keep a bingo prone leave because I can effectively end the game next turn a lot of the time

#note ROULADE is the play I was looking for! exhaustion ftw. ODEA does a good job of exhausting anyways, cause the quadrant is pretty constricted as is. I liked keeping vowels to counteract the 21:8 ratio swimming in the pool

#note I didn't see BIFL(E)X, which is far and away my best play. Blocks the L bingoes, leaving only the 15 row as a danger.
BOEUF is to set up XI, which isn't ideal cause I play all my vowels, but at least I get a lot of scores
