My name is Michael Winter and I live in Berlin, Germany. I am an independent game developer for the iPhone/iPod Touch. I am a casual scrabble game and by no means an expert of the game. However, I do love playing all kinds of different word games and therefore it may not be too much of a surprise that my debut game is all about words. It is called "Letter Mania" and there is also a free version of the game called "Letter Mania Free".
The game could be described best as a blend between Tetris and Scrabble. Letters keep coming down faster and faster and the user has to get rid of them by forming words. Long words score far more points than short ones encouraging the user to strive for very long words. Words of the same color will also score higher, encouraging players to form words with just a small subset of the letters available. I would like to ask if some of the experts in this forum could be bothered giving the game a try. I would be interested in any kind of feedback such as completeness of the dictionary, letter generation, potential game play enhancements and, of course, how the game appeals to scrabble players in general. The free version of the game can easily be used for testing purposes since it has all the features of the paid version. The only difference is that the free version contains advertisement. However, should someone prefer the paid version, I still have some promo codes in stock. Just send me a private message if you would like to have such a code. I would be thrilled if some of the scrabble experts in this forum would find my creation worthy of being tried out.
Many greetings
Michael Winter
