It happens, last minute drop outs, affecting several divisions. Worry not, if you are low in a division it is your best opportunity to increase your rating, and if you are high in a division it is your best chance to win $.

We became odd-numbered, so as advertised I will drop out to make the tournament even, averting (we hope) those dreaded "byes."

We had to revert to a large division six.

Oh brother, the player numbers on pairings are correct, BUT please correct the player number on your nametag!

It's going to be chilly but mostly sunny, this first weekend in November in Asheville!
