#note B3 BIMANOUS 66
>Eric_Harshbarger: ?DINSTU 4B DUSTINg +74 166
#note 4B DUSTBIN for 76, but also H7 TENDINOUS for 96!
>David_Weisberg: AEIINSV E2 VI.A +14 162
#note 10I VIA 19 sims about 2.5 better.
>Eric_Harshbarger: LLOY 6B .OLLY +26 192
#note Scored as 25
>David_Weisberg: AEEINNS A7 A.IN +12 174
#note I might have missed ADOZE or I would have considered C10 ANE 18. I have no idea what I was thinking with AKIN, other than being too afraid to play NAEVI or NAIVE at B2 for 20. ANE sims significantly better than anything else.
>Eric_Harshbarger: OVW 10I VOW +22 214
>David_Weisberg: AEEIJNS C10 AJEE +37 211
#note 11H JANE 43 sims over 5 points better, despite giving back the J spot. Perhaps it blocks some S plays with VOW, or he might have had other good plays on row 11 anyway. What I like about it, though, is it gives me new bingo lines with my EIS leave if he does use the J.
>Eric_Harshbarger: GG 12C .GG +10 224
>David_Weisberg: GINRSTW H1 TWI. +18 229
#note B12 TWIG for 27!
>Eric_Harshbarger: ADOT 11H DATO +31 255
>David_Weisberg: EGLNRST C2 GN. +8 237
>Eric_Harshbarger: CI 2A CI. +12 267
>David_Weisberg: AELPRST L4 PALTERS +80 317
#note I was only 90% sure of PLATERS
>Eric_Harshbarger: ABINQ 12K NIQAB +44 311
>David_Weisberg: AEEHNRU O8 REHA. +30 347
#note O10 URBANE sims 3.5 ahead, and O10 UNBEAR 2 ahead, but both set up the X for an easy 50%. He will bingo more often after REHAB, but only 12% vs 9-10% for URBANE or UNBEAR. There are still 40+ point X plays he might have from the D in DATO, but I don't see why I should make it easier for him.
>Eric_Harshbarger: CIORSTT 13F TRICOTS +72 383
#note It plays for 74 at N4, which also sims 2 points better.
>David_Weisberg: EINRU N10 UN.I +15 362
#note Sadly I didn't write down my rack here. I'm pretty sure I had ER though because I was about to play URAEI in this spot. It was probably another E or another R, if not both.
>Eric_Harshbarger: EU A1 E.U +15 398
>David_Weisberg: EEFORRX M4 ER +8 370
#note After realizing I couldn't win given correct play, I decided to set up FOREX just to force him to block it. I was almost out of time so I did this impulsively figuring nothing was at stake besides a little spread. There also was a slight chance he wouldn't see it, and just play MAY or MAYA for points.
>Eric_Harshbarger: AAEMRY K3 MAY +33 431
#note I've never been more eager for my opponent to hit the clock in my life.
>David_Weisberg: EFORX N2 FOREX +75 445
#note I lost 10 points for overtime, but this was still enough to win. Poor Eric was flabbergasted that he missed this, since he saw FOREX, and my setup for it, but didn't put together that it would form APER and YARE. He underscored two early plays by a point each. Final score recorded as 441-429.
>David_Weisberg: (AER) +6 451
