>Mark_Miller: AIIIIKO -AIIIIKO +0 0
#note Not actual rack. Mark exchanged all 7 tiles here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EFIKOUW 8E KUFI +22 22
#note Looks fine. Definitely worth playing through this rack.
>Mark_Miller: AELRSVY I8 SLAVERY +77 77
#note Yowza. I did not see this coming. Unlucky for me, but nice find by Mark.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIIOPVW E8 .IWI +22 44
#note And things have quickly turned sour. I went from potentially recovering from last game's disaster to falling behind. It's close between this and 9D WIPE for 4 more and a worse leave, but I don't have an S for SWIPE. 11I VIVE was too risky for my liking because that would require me to actually draw compatible stuff with my W with WOP* not being good after keeping IOPW. My play does sim ahead of WIPE and VIVE because of not opening up good counterplay for Mark.
>Mark_Miller: ENOP H12 PEON +41 118
#note Yea, nothing I could do there.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEOOPTV D11 OVA +14 58
#note I saw but hated how blocky D9 TOPO was. I liked this move to eventually open up the top left because I have the P hook for POI. Maybe OVATE would have been a better version of this if I was going to also pass up G12 OPT. #strategysmall
>Mark_Miller: EILU F11 LIEU +9 127
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEMNOPT J9 OM +22 80
#note Good. Keep the P, keep a good leave, and open up another line. No bingoes were missed with this nice looking rack.
>Mark_Miller: HOY C13 HOY +28 155
#note But OVATE would have prevented that from happening.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AENNOPT B12 NAP +24 104
#note Right idea. I needed to bingo, and I didn't see anything good that keeps the A for Column K bingoes. But there's enough As and Is left that I could always redraw one of those, so this looks fine if I wasn't willing to blow up the rack too much with B9 TEOPAN.
>Mark_Miller: BHU A13 HUB +39 194
#note Unfortunately, he had the perfect response to take that lane away from me. Unlucky once again because nothing goes in front of AHA besides the H.
>Samuel_Kaplan: CDELNOT K4 DOCENT +21 125
#note Time to open up the top right and fork the board. I did not see 12H (PE)NTODE, but the board is harder for him to close down after this. So I do prefer this play at this score either way, and the sim likes it.
>Mark_Miller: ?DEGIMN 5H DEM.tING +61 255
#note I'm lucky he missed 4H MED(D)lING for 84. But this is only getting worse.
>Samuel_Kaplan: FLNORTX M3 FL.R +14 139
#note While I wasn't 100% sure about O1 FLONG, which is a better equity play and score, the idea behind FLIR instead of M1 FORN(I)X was that with an I draw, I draw into 13F (E)X(ER)TION (I didn't think that Mark would worry about that when the D and G in DEMOTING are wide open), which I felt would get me back in this game if I draw a bingo with EXERTIONS. FL(I)RT jumps to the top of the sim with 13F (E)X(ER)T because there's still 4 Ts left. With a do-over, perhaps FLIRT would have been fine.
>Mark_Miller: AGI O5 .IGA +18 273
>Samuel_Kaplan: ANORRTX N8 TAX +28 167
#note Now it's looking very bleak because I did not get the I that was needed. His play probably indicates he's keeping nicely and could have more Is. Now it's pretty much draw a Column M bingo that scores nicely or this game will be over in a hurry.
>Mark_Miller: ADIIRST C5 DIARIST +64 337
#note And now I'm pretty much already sunk.
>Samuel_Kaplan: LNOORRU M10 ORLON +19 186
#note H1 ROUND is easily better, LOR isn't that bad a leave with this pool and I can maybe hit that Column M bingo next to TAX. #vsionmedium
>Mark_Miller: EEZ 6F ZEE +35 372
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEJRSU 11K JU.A +33 219
#note Nice spread cutter at this point.
>Mark_Miller: BO 6B B.O +11 383
#note Yep. Good block.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEENRS L2 NEA. +19 238
#note Maybe I can hit a bingo on Row 2 now?
>Mark_Miller: T 12H ..T +5 388
#note The Q was definitely in the bag, otherwise he would have dropped it at 9B.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGRSTW O11 TWEER +48 286
#note My only real hope was that Mark picked the Q because nothing else scores even close to this or O11 TREWS. This helped me cut spread nicely...or did it?
>Mark_Miller: ?ADEIRT 2E DERATIo. +62 450
#note DIpTERA(N) also works for 62. I just laughed this one off because it simply wasn't winnable. Great game Mark, there was no coming back from down more than 100 points this time! That tile bag did quite a good job of rubbing salt in the wound. 1-2 -107, time to enjoy some pizza.
