>Morris_Greenberg: ELRRSVY 8G LEVY +20 20
#note This game was streamed. Intuitively, I didn't think the difference between LRS and RRS was as large as the extra points Chris can get with the EVERY hook. Quackle says LEVY saves about 4.8 points for Chris next turn on average, but the leave value difference between LRS and RRS is 5.1 points on average, so this is slightly worse.
>Chris_Cheng: ADEEIOT G7 O.E +5 5
>Morris_Greenberg: EENRRRS H8 .RR +5 25
#note Quackle likes ERR 6F better with no rack inference. For Chris' actual leave that looks great, I am not sure how often I can infer a leave like ADEIT there, but I think it's more often than I thought during the game because 5 vowel racks with AEEIO would often cause O(L)E to be a good play. I pegged Chris on something more like TRADE. Interestingly, Quackle still prefers ERR 6F in that scenario, because I bingo more often after it (a bit counterintuitive because ENRS is a worse leave than EENRS)
>Chris_Cheng: AADEIST 10H .ADIATES +65 70
>Morris_Greenberg: EENQRST L9 Q.T +12 37
>Chris_Cheng: BEEMNOO O6 BOOM. +27 97
>Morris_Greenberg: EEFHNRS 12I FRESHEN +104 141
>Chris_Cheng: AEEJNPU 6G JUPE +26 123
>Morris_Greenberg: ACGILUW M7 CLI. +22 163
#note I switched from WAI(T) to CLI(T) here because CGLU will be really hard to play on the board after Chris's next turn most of the time, whereas at least I have AW for 25 at a minimum keeping AGUW. Quackle prefers WAI(T), and likes 5J WIG most, but I think in how this game would practically unfold, I like this still.
>Chris_Cheng: AEINOOO O12 .AOI +12 135
>Morris_Greenberg: AFGLNUW 5I UNFLAG +26 189
#note I always think this is valid, in my email if I hover over a flagged email it literally says "Unflag?". Quackle prefers the very slick AW(A), as FLUNG is complemented beautifully by this bag and the board. Really cool idea that I missed.
>Chris_Cheng: DENOOTX 4F TONDO +16 151
>Morris_Greenberg: CEHORRW 3J COWER +26 215
#note I first laid down CHOWER* here and realized that it was phony, and quickly switched to COWER. I wish I thought this through more after that, WHOR(L) looks great and I missed it, but if I don't see that even, I would normally play CROW here and save the E. This is imprecise.
>Chris_Cheng: EEGNPWX 3E PEW +23 174
>Morris_Greenberg: AHIINNR N14 HA +22 237
#note I thought HIN F9 (the preference of the commentators) often led to games that would be easier for Chris than me, I don't have a large lead where if I make a 14 point play now and I give back a 25-30 point play that blocks the bingo lines while keeping RAIN, it felt like the kind of game that wasn't going to be good for the kinds of equity I was drawing into. In addition, I thought the column F lane led to good enough counterplay that it would not be a big deal to leave it open. I didn't consider that ERRS is a pretty great line for Chris though, which definitely is a good argument for HIN. My idea here is that this keeps me up by a baby bingo, and doesn't give any new scoring spots for Chris (which it is starting to get hard to score at all without opening something better if he doesn't have a bingo or an S he's willing to burn). Fwiw, Quackle likes RHIN(O) best here, then INIA 13F, then HIN, this is ~5.5% behind RHINO and ~4.5% behind HIN.
>Chris_Cheng: EEGNSXZ 4N EX +21 195
#note EX 13J would've been awesome to set up the Z.
>Morris_Greenberg: IIINNRV 9C VINI.. +13 250
#note Quackle prefers exchanging 6 or 7 here by ~0.5%. I figured that this quickens the game and keeps me up by just under a bingo, and I pegged Chris on a more bingo-prone leave after EX, keeping the Z was not something I considered he had.
>Chris_Cheng: EGINSSZ D5 SEIZ.NGS +106 301
#note Misscored as 110.
>Morris_Greenberg: EIINRTU - +0 250
#note I challenged. I was fairly sure this was valid, but then thought if SEIZURES is the adjectival form of SEIZE (as in search and seizure), then I can't be sure enough that SEIZING is a noun given the game situation to not challenge.
>Chris_Cheng: BEIKRTT C3 BRITT +23 324
>Morris_Greenberg: EIINRTU M12 .IT +18 268
#note I need to score enough to be within a bingo before opening. HUT is a better version of this.
>Chris_Cheng: AAAEKOY E8 A.A +16 340
>Morris_Greenberg: DEGINRU 11B RU. +4 272
#note If D?? are in the bag, this is really hard to block.
>Chris_Cheng: ?AEKMOY A8 MEAtY +43 383
>Morris_Greenberg: DDEGINU 13E GUIDE +15 287
#note (I)NDUED is a better version of this.
>Chris_Cheng: ?AKLO 2M OAK +26 409
>Morris_Greenberg: DN I12 ..ND +8 295
>Morris_Greenberg: (L?) +2 297
