>Jackson: ABMOOTV H7 TOMB +16 16
#note bad play. I felt like vowels worked better with the V than the T and that TOMB was more defensive, but BOOM still has better specs than TOMB. AVO looks like the clear best play, BMOT is no amazing leave but the V restricts overlaps a lot and BMOT is not a V and has not bad synergy. Big oversight to start the game.

>Jackson: DGMORST 10K GORM +21 68
#note I liked the aggression of GORM, setting up the big hook and it being not easy to block without giving back a triple or at least O column scoring play. MOG looks standard here, or GOD for 22, they both sim a bit better. Although the sim doesnt account for the recursive value of GORMS, it also doesnt account for a defeensive response from Andy, which would also leave the board quite dead in the short term, so I think GORM is a mistake over MOG or GOD.

#note hits a lot of bingoes with vowels, plus GORMS Z plays. sim likes LEX and LEZ a bit more, but I find it hard to believe I average over 60 with LEX in real life
>Andy_Hoang: AEERSTV B6 .AVE +18 296
>Jackson: ?ELPRSZ A9 PREZ +29 295
#note I mostly debated PREZ and SPELTZ here, which sim close together. I liked PREZ because CAVE doesnt always leave a great leave for hitting BOYOS, could be a blank and vowels, so if I can hit BOYOS first I can often do it in a really defensive way, then hang on for the win. I also thought PREZZIE might be a useful option later on. I didnt like the fact that SPELTZ was mainly reaching for the blank, kind of hoping for a bingo trade or to draw the blank and have Andy not bingo. I felt like it was too likely Andy bingoes even without the blank that I shouldnt take that chance, and also too likely Andy kept the blank to start destryoing my rack to reach into the pool further. However, PREZ has the issue of maybe doing worse when Andy bingoes immediately, cause he can often be pretty defensive, or force my bingoes to hit eh 14 row and score nothing while setting up big scores. Ultimately I felt it was a good chance to take that Andy doesnt bingo immediately. However, the star play here might be LAX for 10 - with 13/20 of the unseen pool, I hit massive bingoes on the A column, all of which fit with BOYOS as well. I think that is a good play, but if Andy hits the A column immediately it could leave me in the same predicament. Not sure between LAX and PREZ. LAX has higher valuation but might not win as consistently with Andy's range. One nice thing about speltz is that it leaves 7 in the bag, so if Andy bingoes immediately I have a chance to bingo out and win. Still just a nice feature, I dont think its enough to justify the play.

>Jackson: ?IILNSY N12 L.Y +15 310
#note nothing seems to every win straight up. Hoping for a blank draw and an error on his part. Considered YEN as well to be more aggressive about it, but 14F plays witih AE block those bingoes so thought the extra points straight up could help.
