#player2 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
>Stefan_Fatsis: AILOORT - +0 0
#note Exchange 3. Not actual rack.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEIKORR 8H OKE +14 14
#note 8G KORE for 16 is a little better.
>Stefan_Fatsis: NOT 7H NOT +15 15
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EIRRSW K2 WoRRIES +80 94
#note Best.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AEEIMNT 4E ANTIME.E +72 87
#note Looks best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABDGHNR 9G BRAG +26 120
#note E3 HANDBAG for 28 and 3H BARONG for 31 are better than my play by about 2 points, but BRAG is hardly a big mistake.
>Stefan_Fatsis: CJOU F2 JU.CO +32 119
>Jonathan_Lindh: DHNNNRT 3J H.RN +19 139
#note Either HORN or J3 NORTH for 18.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AFQR H1 FAQ.R +51 170
>Jonathan_Lindh: DLNNTUZ E6 LUTZ +15 154
#note 6B DUNNO is about 5-6 points because of the leave. Did not see it. DUNNO why.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ES E6 ....ES +30 200
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEENNOP D10 PONE +18 172
>Stefan_Fatsis: EPW C11 PEW +33 233
>Jonathan_Lindh: CDDEINY 8A EDIC. +33 205
#note F10 DYED for 32 is best. I would use the spot the next turn.
>Stefan_Fatsis: BGISTUY B6 BU.GY +26 259
>Stefan_Fatsis: BGISTUY -- -26 233
#note I think Stefan said this was his rack. Quackle likes N1 BUY for 26. Also BUDGIE is good, but not BUDGY.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDHINOY F10 HYOID +49 254
#note Best. I was really happy with this play.
>Stefan_Fatsis: BGISTUY 15D GUSTY +46 279
#note Quackle really likes BUSTY over GUSTY here. GUSTY is 2nd. I was surprised Stefan was keeping an S.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEENOT 14H OE +7 261
#note First decent sized mistake of the game. I need to score here. 2J TWEED is 35 and worth it.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ABG 13H BAG +18 297
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADENSTX 7A TAX +40 301
#note Quackle thinks I should leave off the T with 7B AX.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AMRT B12 MART +23 320
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEELNS 2K .E +8 309
#note Moment of truth. Fishing off one tile is resonable here to go for SNAILED, but play the E at A15, not L2. My thinking was Stefan may try and block the S hook with a 4 letter W play that doesn't take an S, but I don't think one exists in the pool. I was thinking of WEEL, but there is only one unseen E, and nobody will burn a blank to do that play. If I had a do-over I would do 15A ET for 6.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ?EFIIVV 1L FIVE +53 373
#note I think this was Stefan's actual rack. Clearly best. There are only two unseen consonants that go there from my perspective (the D and the F). There was a fair shot I might have been able to use the spot had Stefan not had the D nor the F and I couldn't bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEILNS N3 SNAILED +67 376
#note I hit my fish, but now I empty the bag. 40% to win.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ?ADLOOU O8 DOULA +33 406
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIIILNV M9 ANVIL +23 399
#note Best.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ?O 9B Os +14 420
#note Best.
>Stefan_Fatsis: (II) +4 424
#note Final score recorded as 424-400. I may have been able to pull this one out if not for ERE, but even then Stefan may have scored enough on the comeback play in order to beat me.
