>Morris_Greenberg: ?BCHMRY E6 CR.MBY +30 30
>Jared_Cappel: AAENORX I6 AERO +21 69
#note Decided to try for an X-setup thinking if he played down the H column and ended the word in T, R, L, S etc, my X still played. It sims better than the other options but maybe there's an even better fish I didn't think of.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?HILTUW J3 WITH +31 61
>Jared_Cappel: ABDENRX H1 BANDER +39 108
>Morris_Greenberg: ?GJLRSU 2E JUG.L +15 76
#note I didn't know the S hook in front of WITH, I thought only SWITHE was the word. As a result, no JuGUL(A)RS.
>Jared_Cappel: AEGHIMX 4D MIXE. +30 138
#note GIMME is the candidate play and I missed it.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?ADLRSS J9 DoRSALS +62 138
>Jared_Cappel: ADGHNTU 15E GHAUT. +30 168
#note NAUGHTS.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAILTWY F10 YAW +37 175
#note YAWL here looks stronger, with so many Ns out it is good to not give the YAWN hook.
>Jared_Cappel: ?DINNOR 13A DRONINg +74 242
#note There's a better bingo - can you find it?
>Morris_Greenberg: AEILPTT A8 PITTE. +30 205
#note Quackle prefers TALIPE(D) in the same place.
>Jared_Cappel: AFIINRZ 6B ZIN. +35 277
#note The sim slightly prefers FRIZ B12, but I like taking out the bingo lane and starting to close things.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAEEILO B6 .OA +16 221
#note Maybe (T)OEA 5J instead? I am in poor shape no matter what.
>Jared_Cappel: AFINORS I11 OAF +23 300
#note Killing bingo lanes. Simming best.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEEILT G8 .IE +12 233
#note Type a note here!I considered the 5J placement of this too, but thought it would still be simple for Jared to block immediately. Quackle prefers playing off 2 Es here with (T)EE either at this spot or 5J.
>Jared_Cappel: FIINORS 3H .O. +10 310
#note Quackle doesn't love my play but I think I have the cushion to take out the last scary lane, especially as he has been fishing for a couple turns. Quackle suggests FINO 3A without any leave inference.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEGLNT 11H G..E +10 243
#note Quackle suggests (FA)NEGA, which I didn't consider over the board. I think this might be very easy to underlap though given that there are 3 Is and 2 Os left.
>Jared_Cappel: FIINRSV L8 VINS +17 327
#note I saw quackle's idea of VIM but thought I had to play defense here. A bit scared that he can set something up if he has the case S, but still like this more than VIM.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAEELNT 8L .ANE +21 264
#note Jared suggested A(V)E after the game, which looks nice in some ways, but the issue is it scores so little that Jared can likely just score next turn to outrun any bingos. Quackle prefers VALE to VANE here too, I kept the L here to also go for PALEO(ZOA) with the idea being that if I don't bingo, I can grind 5-10 points at a time by creating a opening an Jared blocking for fewer points and then I hit the 38 point play in the endgame to steal the win.
>Jared_Cappel: EFIILOR 9N OF +12 339
#note FIR felt standard but didn't want to set up a big lane starting in RE down to the triple. Quackle says N3 OLEFIN is best and with the pool that looks perfectly reasonable. I had mistracked again which didn't help my calculations.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADEKLTU 3A LEKU +20 284
#note I am going for D(EF)LATERS or RE(NO)VATED here, obviously I would love to just get rid of the KU or KLU for these options, but there are no spots on the board for them.
>Jared_Cappel: EEIILOR 7M LO +9 348
#note Having mistracked and being so low on clock, I decided to block once more. There are no bingos available (and this sequence can occasionally be outrun) so A1 OLLIE sims best. (Oddly enough the only game I tracked properly in the last 7 vs. Morris was the last game, the one I lost...go figure).
>Morris_Greenberg: ADEPSTV A1 VE.DT +33 317
>Jared_Cappel: CEEIIR 13I ..RCE +20 368
#note Was super low on clock and plunked this down. I thought this would sim terribly, but it's only one point behind the best play of TIERCE.
>Morris_Greenberg: APS D11 PA. +18 335
>Jared_Cappel: EII F4 .I +9 377
#note LOL - almost cost myself the game here! Was down to 15 seconds, didn't even spin the board and just plopped the I without seeing what I gave Morris back. Best play here is ENOW/GEE - but really any play that doesnt allow ZINCS/XIS is better than mine.
