#player2 Chloe_Fatsis Chloe Fatsis
>Arie_Sinke: CDEELPY 8D YCLEPED +88 88
#note Is this better than the lower scoring, defensive positions? My instinct says yes, but some people would definitely sack the two points here.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AEFK D4 FAKE. +30 30
>Arie_Sinke: ?ABDIJY E3 JAY +41 129
#note No spot for JAYBIrD.
>Chloe_Fatsis: DEO F3 ODE +26 56
>Arie_Sinke: ??BDEIT 2F BETIDed +81 210
#note Nothing scores more than 81 here. DuBIETy 7G also scores 81 and is clearly a much better play than any of the many plays available at 2F for the same score.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AEGINRT 1D GRANITE +101 157
>Arie_Sinke: AAIOPRV 7F APORIA +31 241
#note This is probably best. I can't see myself going for PAVIOR 7F with a lead. I liked taking away seveal floaters for eights.
>Chloe_Fatsis: CEINOSS L6 OSCINES +83 240
>Arie_Sinke: DELQRTV 6H LEV +37 278
#note Looks right.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AEHIMTT 11E HEMATIT. +102 342
>Arie_Sinke: ADIQRTU 10J QI.DAR +71 349
#note Or QINTAR, which sims almost exactly equal. Apparently TU is worse than DU here.
>Chloe_Fatsis: FIN O8 FI.N +21 363
>Arie_Sinke: INRSTUU 12G UNIS +26 375
#note Quackle really wants me to fish here. In a position like this I just can't justify fishing. It is reasonably likely that neither of us will bingo again before the end of the game. The score is close, and those extra points I get (11 at a minimum compared to my second highest scoring play) will likely be crucial towards determining the outcome of the game. Or so it seemed. As it turned out I really needed to bingo if I wanted to have a chance at this one.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EHW 10F HEW +41 404
>Arie_Sinke: ABORRTU 12A BURRO +25 400
#note This has got to be right - anything else gives up too many points.
>Chloe_Fatsis: OOZ A12 .OZO +45 449
>Arie_Sinke: AAGILOT 14A .OA +24 424
#note I need to create a second spot for bingos that I'm reasonably likely to hit here. It's this or ZAG - Quackle really likes ZAG but I'm concerned that too few sevens will underlap the G if Chloe blocks column N.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EGLNOSV 15C GLOVES +36 485
>Arie_Sinke: AGILTTU 1L AGLU +20 444
#note At this point it's over - there's nothing I can draw into that will steal the game. AGLU is far from my best spread play, and I should probably just dink off the G for 19 at 3G.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EMNNRUX 13H EX +42 527
>Arie_Sinke: ITTW G1 ..W +27 471
>Chloe_Fatsis: MNNRU N9 M.UN +12 539
>Arie_Sinke: ITT 2N IT +10 481
#note Chloe played the endgame perfectly. I made a 3 point error on this turn by playing IT instead of THEW 10E.
>Chloe_Fatsis: NR K2 .RN +2 541
>Chloe_Fatsis: (T) +2 543
