>Niel_Gan: AAFLOOP 8D LOOFA +18 18
#note Silly oversight.
>Matthew_O'Connor: EHI 9E HIE +20 20
>Niel_Gan: AAOOPTY 10B TOYO +15 33
#note Missed 10G YOOP.
>Matthew_O'Connor: EWY 9A WEY +24 44
>Niel_Gan: AAAEIOP 8A OP +32 65
#note Took too long here, OP clearly best even with gross leave.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEEIIRS I2 AIERIES +68 112
>Niel_Gan: ?AAAEIN H1 AA +8 73
#note Quackle narrowly sims best for this AA or H3, Macondo slight edge to H4. In any case seemed better leave than ANA for my word knowledge, and they all do the job of limiting use of the best scoring spot.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AELMPRU 6C PLUMER.A +70 182

>Matthew_O'Connor: DDGL 3G GL.D.D +14 196
>Niel_Gan: HIKSSUU L3 .UH +27 183
#note Bad miss of KUDUS.
>Matthew_O'Connor: OX L7 OX +36 232
>Niel_Gan: EIKSSSU D10 .UKS +22 205
>Niel_Gan: EEIIOSS (challenge) +5 210
#note Didn't look for slightly better YOUKS.
>Matthew_O'Connor: DLOT 10G DOLT +14 246
>Niel_Gan: EEIIOSS M7 SEI +19 229
#note ISO a pretty slot but SEI bingos just about enough more.
>Matthew_O'Connor: NNNNN -5 +0 246
>Niel_Gan: DEINOST N8 STONIED +83 312
#note 13A DONSIEST not better bc scores way too little, but the substantial relative win % gain for defense is notable.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AJT M13 TAJ +27 273
>Niel_Gan: CINRTTW 13A TWI.T +16 328
#note Should've paid more attention to the obvious sacrifice on the previous turn, but I was distracted by the fact that I was facing too much game at the end of my time again. Major weakness.

With no inferencing, C2 TWIR(P) 20 is best, but 13I WRIT(TE)N 14 sims close. Add in something reasonable like opponent ZA, and WRITTEN is a whopping 14% better than my play. Even W(AD)T 8 significantly better.

Need better time management on non-crucial turns and better recognition of when a turn could be crucial. I'd have a very different response if told to "look at this position" compared to what I did in-game.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AZ O14 ZA +46 319
>Niel_Gan: BCEINNR H10 .RCEIN +33 361
#note Not happy to keep this leave with this pool, but scoring seemed necessary. N in row 15 appreciably better than E, probably in part due to the pool.
>Matthew_O'Connor: ERVV 13G V.RVE +16 335
>Niel_Gan: BBCGNRU 15E BRU.G +8 369
#note Future self beware: Overvaluing bingo-blocking and undervaluing high chances of getting outrun by more flexible tiles is a HUGE mistake. On the order of 35-50 win % in this particular case compared to 5E GUB.

Sim is of course not reliable here, but notable that assuming opponent blank makes this play sim even worse than no inference. Silver lining is having this pointed out early in my tournament career.
