#player2 Morris_Greenberg Morris Greenberg
>Jackson_Smylie: DIKMTTU H8 TUMID +20 20
>Morris_Greenberg: EEHNNPY I9 HEN +25 25
#note I considered a few different options (e.g., HE(M)PY and HYEN(I)NE too), but ultimately liked starting off a bit closed here. Quackle prefers HEMPY.
>Jackson_Smylie: EHIKOST G6 OKEH +35 55
>Morris_Greenberg: EEINPVY F2 VEINY +40 65
>Jackson_Smylie: AFIISTY H8 .....ITY +42 97
#note was not sure if this was a word, did not love it, but hated TUMIDIFY* far more. TUMIDITY is in fact good
>Morris_Greenberg: ?EEILOP 12A PEtIOLE. +76 141
>Jackson_Smylie: AFGINRS 4B FAIR.NGS +78 175
#note baiting the challenge, though I expect it to come only rarely given he can see I have other 78 point options available
>Morris_Greenberg: DEELNPS B8 SPLE.NED +76 217
>Morris_Greenberg: DEELNPS -- -76 141
#note I missed SP(A)LDEEN here. I really thought this was good.
>Jackson_Smylie: ABEOSWZ B10 ZO.AE +68 243
#note could block SPALDEEN, and strongly considered WEB. If he plays PEW A1, that still gives me ZOEAS, and if he plays PEELED, which I expected him to, I get AZO keeping the S. That is a better outcome than when he finds spaldeen, but ZOEAE is a far better outcome when he doesn't find it. Maybe given my lead it is worth playing it a bit safer, but I had a good feeling it was not getting played
>Morris_Greenberg: DEELNPS 3A DEP +25 166
>Jackson_Smylie: ABGNRSW 11E WAN..GS +58 301
>Jackson_Smylie: ABGNRSW -- -58 243
#note bad. I thought it was phony at first then thought waxings and wanings* were both good, but its only waxings after all. WANING is a good play if I am sure of the hook. One day I will learn the words
>Morris_Greenberg: EGLNSVX E11 V.X +26 192
#note Geez, I missed V(E)X two lanes over for 18 more points...
>Jackson_Smylie: ABGNRSW C9 WAR.S +39 282
>Morris_Greenberg: AAEGLNS 3I ANLAGES +71 263
>Jackson_Smylie: BEGINRT L2 T.BERING +74 356
#note missed B(ET)TERING for 4 fewer, I think that is a reasonable play here and I prob would have made it
>Morris_Greenberg: EEFIMQT O1 QI. +36 299
>Jackson_Smylie: CDILOOT 2B DOT +27 383
#note saw COTYLOID and was pretty sure but got spooked - also of course IDOL, missed that. Preferred keeping the C here for ensuring scoring and sometimes defense, so DOT over DOL. If you agree with the sim that DOC > DOT, that makes this three distinct errors in one turn
>Morris_Greenberg: EEFMRRT K5 FEM +32 331
>Jackson_Smylie: CEILOOR M5 RECOIL +37 420
>Morris_Greenberg: AADERRT N7 AD +15 346
#note I have the last E, there is 1 I, S, and blank otherwise.
>Jackson_Smylie: AABOSUW O8 SUBA +33 453
>Morris_Greenberg: ?ACERRT 14F RE.RACTs +63 409
#note I missed (T)ETRARCh.
>Jackson_Smylie: AINOOUW K11 UNI.A +14 467
#note finally a correct endgame. been giving away spread like im a 7 layer dip
>Morris_Greenberg: JLOTU M12 JU.T +20 429
#note J(E)T(E) G11.
>Jackson_Smylie: OOW D7 WOO +12 479
>Jackson_Smylie: (LO) +4 483
