>Beth_Mix: DENOOSS 8G NOOSED +18 18
#note Game 1 of 6 from my time at Beth's house as I cut my trip to a bowling tournament in East Providence, RI.

It's hard not to be stumped about this rack if I'm being honest. Quackle likes playing long here, but I immediately thought Beth had another S after this play. ODEON looks pretty good because that does not telegraph an S, and it also gives back nothing with vowel placement. I don't like the highest equity option of SNOOD.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGIMOT 7I GEMOT +25 25
#note I felt comfortable making this play because she is very random despite most likely holding another S. She isn't always close to a bingo which gave me the comfort of setting up my other E in 2 spots. If EMOTE, which plays at 9H for 26, didn't block the N, maybe that could be considered.
>Beth_Mix: AAANNRS 9F NANA +16 34
#note This or 9G ANA are fine.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEFILOT 6J FE +32 57
#note I didn't see FETE in this spot, but I still liked keeping my other E for the GEMOTE hook to bingo. FETE would have still been a little better to score 8 more to dig for the blanks more. #visionmedium
>Beth_Mix: ?AANORS N1 ANgORAS +75 109
#note So it turns out Beth had a bingo in more than 1 spot and I would be rewarded for my small mistake. While OARSmAN plays at 10A, Beth and I discussed this position extensively, and I like RAmONAS at N1 better because I can hit her much harder on average in the top right corner after ANgORAS or ANORAkS. I am not sure why the sim disagrees with me.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EILNORT 1H ORIENT.L +131 188
#note That's just lucky for me.
>Beth_Mix: AEELRUY 10C YULE +13 122
#note I like O4 YEA for equity or L6 Y(OD)ELER for the extra points, opening up the bottom right, and blocking 2x2s such as D(EME)ANS, etc. I don't see a great way for her to score while dumping the dreaded U.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EIILOY L1 .OILY +16 204
#note Seeing there's only 1 N left, I can't be that concerned about -ING bingoes on Row 3. It's close in the sim with 3L YO(g)I. #strategysmall
>Beth_Mix: AAADEPR 11D PA +16 138
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EEEIUX -EEIU +0 204
#note No floating N or T for EUXENITE. The X was perfectly OK to keep here because of Column O plays, and rest assured I was gonna be very unlikely to bingo next turn after doing EX at either 9L or O5.
>Beth_Mix: AACDERU 2F CARED +29 167
#note I like CURED in this spot better because she doesn't hold an S.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BDEILX 3G XED +47 251
#note I purposely chose this over DEX in the same spot because I have the blank and since I'm more likely to draw an E instead of an O, I would have an easier time hitting row 4 after XED. I still would have done O4 XED if Beth did CURED instead of CARED on her last turn.
>Beth_Mix: AACEGRU 4C GRACE +26 193
#note 4C RUGAE or 4D AGUE look fine, the U isn't particularly useful on this board.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BILOUV C1 VUL.O +18 269
#note Maybe VIG or VUG are a little better with so many Is remaining. #findinglarge
>Beth_Mix: AITTTUZ 10I TAUT +11 204
#note At this point she does need to bingo fast, and the Z isn't a good tile on this board besides F4 CUZ. I would take the 23 more points.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BEEHII 1A HI.E +33 302
#note Best by far. Let's just say I'm not gonna stop drawing Is at this point.
>Beth_Mix: EGIITWZ 11K TIZ +30 234
#note Looks good.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?ABEIIM 5K M. +30 332
#note As unconventional as this looks, I was not doing L10 (TI)BIAE with a lead. Probably L10 (TI)BIA would have been fine because this pool is very clunky. Don't play scared and pass that up. #strategylarge
>Beth_Mix: EGIJOWW 12C JOW +42 276
#note Looks like the clear best play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?ABEIII C12 .IB +24 356
#note And this is the sort of play I should not have been scared to make last turn. Don't be afraid to set up hooks that I have, especially when I have the blank with it. But it serves me right to draw another I when I didn't exactly play optimally last turn.
>Beth_Mix: EGHIIUW 15B WEIGH +26 302
#note Beth admitted that she didn't think of the AWEIGH hook when she made this play. I don't mind this move with there only being 1 A left because 15A HUE and 15A HIE don't score that much more and they both keep garbage leaves.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?AEFIIK A13 KEA +60 416
#note Definitely better than KIvA or KInA on Column A as well. This did get held but the play was correctly accepted.
>Beth_Mix: IQRRSTU M11 .IT +24 326
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BEFIIV 14L FIVE +33 449
#note No bingoes could be hit thru the E, so this is fine.
>Beth_Mix: NPQRRSU 12L P.RN +24 350
#note Knowing I'm going out, 13E SUQ is the play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BDIS 15I BIDeS +25 474
#note Best out play. No out plays exist thru the N and E on Column O. That pool got pretty ugly in a hurry.
>Samuel_Kaplan: (QRSU) +26 500
