>Steve: DDEJNNU 7C DUNNED +20 20
>Peter: AEEOOQX 8A OXO +33 51
>Steve: EEIJPST E5 JI. +20 40
#note JEEP sims best, this third behind the fishing play of J(EW).
>Peter: AEEOPQR F7 .APE +18 69
#note 9F REPO for 27 says the bot
>Steve: EEIPSTV 9A PIT +24 64
#note 9F (P)EP for 21. During the game I was fixated on PIT or PIE here. I guess PEP wins the sim due to the better leave: better consonant vowel ratio (3-2 vs 2-2), no E duplication, and fewer chances to draw a clunker (2 vs 3).
>Peter: ADEGOQR 4A GORED +30 99
>Steve: EEEFRSV E10 FEVER +27 91
>Peter: AOOQTUW A1 QUA. +42 141
>Steve: ?EEGLNS 15E SEELiNG +83 174
#note There are two nines available for those that like to play that game.
>Peter: COORTWZ 13A CROZ. +32 173
#note B2 TROOZ for 74
>Steve: DEGLOOU 1A .UOD +16 190
#note How many of you play GOO at 9H? Seems cavalier, but a sim backs it up. GOU(R)D for the more timid.
>Peter: AEIOTWY 14C WA.Y +47 220
>Steve: CEGKLOO A11 GE.KO +39 229
>Peter: ABEIOTT 9H BOTA +19 239
#note best
>Steve: CLMORRT K8 C.ROM +18 247
#note CL(A)MOR superior to everything else. Never saw the option. And while I'm here CARROM is a word..
>Peter: AEEIINT 12G INTI.AE +20 259
#note Scores and turns over tiles w a blank unseen. Best.
>Steve: AELRSTT M7 ALERT.ST +70 317
>Peter: BEFIIMU -FUIMBI +0 259
#note Q plays L4 BUMF for 27, but a sim against the exchange is very close.
>Steve: HIIILTV -IILV +0 317
#note An exchange is correct, but what do you keep? I was overly concerned with keeping the vowel. You don't want to risk duplicate or triplicate I's in the pre-endgame. And a double H rack isn't good either. Sim says to keep LT. Keeping HT second best.
Another reason to get rid of the I is so that if Peter bingos he's picking from a bag that shows four unseen I's and a U.
>Peter: ?AAERSS N1 ASSAyER +68 327
#note Bot prefers not to bingo, plays (CROZE)RS fpr 28.
>Steve: EHIILMT O1 HI +32 349
#note OMG
There are missed bingos and then there are MISSED BINGOS!
>Peter: FIILNNV O7 FIN +24 351
#note Even after missing my bingo last turn, Peter only has a five percent winning chance after FIL, or a four percent chance after FIN. I think you can see where this is going.
>Steve: EHILMTU 3H HELIUM. +26 375
#note There are over a dozen winning plays for me, but this ain't one.
>Peter: BIILNV 5I BIVIN.L +22 373
#note This ends in a tie according to Quackle, but surprise, surprise, I lost 372-375 in the actual game, even though we recounted. (GECKO was recorded as 36.)
>Peter: (T) +2 375
