#note I hesitated on REALTIES for some strange reason. If I were 100% sure about both, I would have played REALTIES because it blocks bingos on the 13 horizontal line. For example, I wouldn't have had to block next turn with 10K ERN.

#note I'm happy with 14D UNCLEFT (W) , and I think it's one of my better plays in the tournament. Based on Ed's last play of VAU, I infer he holds an S and probably has bingo-friendly tiles generally. While UNCLEFT doesn't completely block a bingo response, it makes it much harder for him to hit anything. Also keeping the W is actually very helpful because I am now set up for high-scoring plays at 10J and 15H, depending on where he plays next turn.

#note I debated playing QI for 22 points at B14 , leaving IIOOTV. This would be the super defensive play. I decided to play QI at C7 because I wanted to get rid of one of my Is. I also figured that even if Ed hits a bingo to the N, I will still be ahead and have a good chance to win the game.

#note Quackle also likes C3 RUG (POORS) for 8 points. It's hard for me to see why this might be better than M1 VOG (PORRS)
