>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EIIOOQU -IOO +0 0
>Jackson: ADNNOOT H6 ONTO +8 8
#note This was a mistake. Once I am giving floaters with DON or ONTO, the extra floater to make TONDO really barely increases his bingo%, because that only adds % in cases where he now has a bingo through the D but not through any other tile, which is pretty rare. With tons of reasonable racks, TONDO sims well. The only other play I like at this point is exchanging NO, which counterbingoes quite well and is truly bingo defensive, giving no floaters. ONTO felt like a happy balance but it really doesn't outperform TONDO in the books, and thematically ex. NO makes more sense if I want to make sacrifices.

#note sure drawing COX would be nice, but it is great to block the lane now, when I will never get such an easy chance to do it. C(A)LX and ZEN sim okay but EX sims highest

#note weird choice but it wins a sim
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AAEHNRV 12B HAVEN +29 320
>Jackson: AAILNPZ J4 LAZA. +34 442
#note I could do IZA(R) too. the S hook isn't so dangerous, I am mostly in outrunning mode here. I considered ZIN, which is great if he bingoes immediately cause I get ZAP back, but it also lets him score well and get closer to one bingo range, and then I have a shittier rack and am worse off. I think BANZAI is a cool play, taking out most of the A column. I like it because it keeps most of the threats in the top right, so if he bingoes immediately I can often take out most of the rest of the bingo options. The problem with BANZAI is that it doesnt fully block SHAVEN, which may get annoying later. I am wont to outrun here, and LAZAR blocks SEQUITURS letting me block SHAVEN next turn. With the B in BRATTIER open as well, it is hard to play the blocking game. PHIZ is a good way to block SHAVEN as well. I can see IZAR and PHIZ are pretty nice here, IZAR is a better version of LAZAR.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEGNORY 4F YEAR.ONG +76 396
>Jackson: CFINPTW 5B W.FT +20 462
#note I think this always wins - I have to block BEDOUINS here - IDONEOUS is the only other bingo he could have, but WAFT outruns it in all cases. Lucky that there was no 7 letter threat I had to worry about, though it was a big nerve wracking to play WAFT in case I missed a 7 in the pool

#note I played a rather bad endgame. PIN 13A is best.
