#note UN/XU sims quite well, pretty cool. BALEFUL also missed here, that is a marginal improvement. UN is very scoring defensive but still keeps a rack as good for bingoing and scoring as the other potential leaves. Q puts all these plays very close, baleful baneful fab bean fibulae un. I would do BALEFUL typically
>John_Karris: AHO 3I HAO +30 62
>Jackson: AEGILMS 9B MILAGES +71 119
#note bad, GREMIALS is a word, I thought gremial did not take the S. clearly better. I preferred MILAGES to GELSEMIA for some board stuff, not setting up 8a and S hooks
>John_Karris: ?AEEGSU 2C lEAGUES +67 129
>Jackson: CPRTTUV E8 V.TU +14 133
#note considered CUP/TUP but felt the leaves were too awful, and CPRT is nice cause I can hit 8a or 1a next turn.
>John_Karris: DEEOPRV M1 REP.OVED +80 209
#note John overdrew and I turned over DOR. This is not an easy decision, because the R at M4 makes a leave like DO (the worst leave in a vacuum) a bit better, plus extra vowels can be helpful on a board like this to make overlaps. In a sim, his average score and bingo%:

DO: 39.6, 13.8%
DR: 41.1, 18.1%
OR: 38.3, 15.4%

This indicates either DO or OR are the leaves I should give him, and probably OR. I could make an argument for just reducing his bingo % at all costs here, but I think the game is too close to focus just on that.
>Jackson: ACLPRTZ 1A CLAPT +46 179
#note or CZAR for 6 more - sim is very close
>John_Karris: ADEIRTY L7 DIETARY +81 290
>Jackson: ADEIORZ K11 ZOA +53 232
#note missed 4b AZIDO here, which is clearly the play to keep more lanes open at the bottom.
>John_Karris: BIMRS 12A BRIMS +32 322
>Jackson: ADEIORT A10 DE.TOR +27 259
#note not a standard play, something like 10B EDITOR in hopes to get back in range is standard here (AT works well with the pool with few ATs in the pool), or 4a RADIO. I liked DEBTOR because blocking the R at 15a often ends up with john putting an E at 15B, which makes a sneaky 9s lane starting with RE that may be really useful later. Often he can just block with (R)AW or something which sucks, but AI doesnt work so bad with this pool anyways so I liked the option.

#note missed 4a TAHINI here, looks great. even N2 HI may be an improvement here

#note not a very tight game on my end, gotta find stuff like TAHINI and AZIDO
