#note this word takes an S. Let's just act like it doesn't, because neither myself nor Jackson played this game with that one. Already a gigantic failure.

>JacksonSmylie: BEIORRS N8 BROI.ERS +76 176
>JoshuaSokol: EHJLQTU 15L JE.T +57 167
#note JU(B)E is much more scoring defensive, and my Q doesn't decrease a ton in value after parting with my U. I can always draw Q(U)A M7, and there are 3 more U's to draw later. But mostly, scoring defense. JUBE sims slightly higher than JEST. Very counterintuitive. #questionable
>JacksonSmylie: GHI O6 GHI +33 209
>JoshuaSokol: DHLQTUU 10I DUH +21 188
#note never saw THUD F6, which is similarly strong. Less risky, since I am not banking on drawing QUA F6, which gives Jackson a very nice A hook with all those unseen A's. My Q plays after THUD are less likely and somewhat less high scoring, but incur less risk, and play better against Jackson's rack-balancing range. Both plays go for QUILT 12A or QUIT 10B if the 12th row is used. This and THUD sim very close, but I imagine THUD might be slightly better for Jackson's range next turn. #questionable
>JacksonSmylie: BRV E10 V.RB +9 218
>JoshuaSokol: FILQTUY 12B FLI. +14 202
#note never saw 14G (C)LIFT, which sets up QI with an I draw. I'm not doing great here regardless. After FLI(R), if I hit my Q plays (like QUI(L)T again, this time at C9, I should be doing better after FLIR, but hitting said plays is less likely. I hated doing QUILT I4, and that seems slightly worse indeed. #questionable
>JacksonSmylie: EIPSX 14A PIXES +38 256
>JoshuaSokol: AIQSTUY F6 QUA +37 239
#note not knowing PELAGICS hurts here. QUA and SUQ 15G are close in value, but only because QUA allows high-scoring plays with PELAGICS next turn.
>JacksonSmylie: ANNSUW 5C UNSAWN +31 287
>JoshuaSokol: CIINSTY H1 TIYI. +27 266
#note a very unforced error here, missing CY(L)I(X) C10 for a far superior leave and far superior score. This is over a 10-point equity blunder. #findingSADDEST
>JacksonSmylie: OR 13C OR. +33 320
>JoshuaSokol: ?CEENRS 1A SaRCENE. +86 352
#note SARCENET loses instantly with S bingos, but allows more long-term control than the other 86-pointer, (T)RENChES. Plays are very close in Quackle, which makes me trust SARCENET was correct.
>JacksonSmylie: AO A13 A.O +15 335
>JoshuaSokol: AALOOOR D1 .ORO.A +16 368
#note seems slightly, but clearly better than adding the L on.
>JacksonSmylie: IO 7H OI +9 344
>JoshuaSokol: AAGLMOT 3B TA.GA +12 380
#note very complicated position. I considered MAGALO(G) 6I to simplify and reduce Jackson's opportunities next turn if he doesn't have it. The worst threats are obviously from the S, since I can't imagine ever recovering from those. His leave is not random, and the top of his range will hit stuff like VENTAIL (which I saw) at J1 or ANTLIKE J2, as well as (S)ALIVATE (which I saw) and (S)ANATIVE from the S. I think upon analysis, it's clear that I should block the S and hope he misses the unlikely stuff on the right side, but I should certainly not do it the way I did it, allowing Jackson to reopen the a column with a targeted fish next turn. (S)TOMAL and (S)TALAG look like huge improvements here. I kind of crumbled. STALAG has my vote since I can sometimes extend it to STALAGMITE (nice find by Alec Sjoholm). I am at very low risk of being outrun after a 5-tile play like this. Even though he has many more threats on the right side, he can still reopen space on the right side if I play defense there and still fish for bingos from the S. I have a better chance of being able to block everything by blocking the left side, and I feel like Jackson is further from the weird K bingos than from the higher-probability threats from the S.

The threats are (S)WANLIKE, (S)ANATIVE, (S)ALIVATE, (S)ENTINEL, (S)ELENITE, (S)ELENATE, J2 TWINKLE, UNAWAKE, KANTELE, UNALIKE, TEALIKE, NUTLIKE, NUNLIKE, NETLIKE, ANTLIKE, VEINULE at J2, NUNATAK, NEATNIK and VENTAIL at J1, AL(I)ENATE 2F.

Non-bingo threats are N1 KWANZA for 53 (which should be outrunnable) and K(Y)ANIZE 3G which TARGA or AM(I)GO 2F blocks.

#note crumbling continues, very low on time, couldn't be 100% on MUZAK, almost played AZO which allows VAWNTIE to play, and just settled for this. Seemed I couldn't lose, but that the endgames were very very favourable to Jackson. According to Quack this is one of only 3 100%ers, OAKUM 6I and MUZAK being the other two. I feel like M(I)LK 2G should win 100% as well, and indeed it does. Quackle failing pre-endgames again. Anyways, I have to block VENTAIL, not give a spot back for VAWNTIE, and score enough in the endgame to win this one.
>JacksonSmylie: AEILNTW K3 LAWN +37 386
#note tantalizingly close, but not good enough.
>JoshuaSokol: ALMNV 3K .AV +12 418
#note very low on time, saw I had L(I)MN 2G if he tried to slowplay. This is -4 compared to C5 (U)LVA, and slightly worse than 6 other plays at least. #endgamesmall
