>Jonathan_Lindh: BEINOOR 8D BONIER +22 22
#note I flipped back and forth between BOO or BONIER. I was about to play BOO but could not pass up 12 extra points. I should have gone with BOO. Only about a 2-3 point mistake max, arguably stylistic.
>Chloe_Fatsis: ?AEGHIW F2 WHEAtI.G +72 72
#note I held for a very long time but I couldn't pull the trigger. It's phony. WEIGHMAN is the only valid bingo here. I convinced myself HEATING had another front hook. CF: I saw WEIGHMAN but was somewhat confident this was good, was wrong
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIIORRU 4B OURI. +10 32
>Chloe_Fatsis: ACEGQSS C3 Q.AG +28 100
#note Probably better to play the S as well, I wanted to keep both and not telegraph that I had one
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIIMNRU D8 .RUIN +14 46
#note D2 MIRI for 19 is best. BRUIN is fairly good, but this is still a minor mistake.
>Chloe_Fatsis: ACDESST E2 AS.DE +29 129
#note Bingo a lot with (QUAG)S or (I)D, those could be better, but it's nice to keep scoring
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEIIMNO C11 MOI +16 62
>Chloe_Fatsis: CCEEFST E11 CEE +27 156
#note CETE is better to be more aggressive, gets rid of an extra conso
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEINPWX B12 PAX +32 94
#note WAXEN is 43 but gives back too much. PAX is best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: CEFLNST H6 CL.F +9 165
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEEINRW A14 EW +24 118
#note Best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: ENRSTUV 2D V.. +9 174
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEIINRS 10H SENARII +71 189
#note Best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AENRSTU M6 TAUR.NES +70 244
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDJLOOT 8L J.DO +60 249
#note Best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: DEIISTY L8 .E.ID +36 280
#note Nice play by Chloe.
>Jonathan_Lindh: BDGHLOT K9 H.G +28 277
#note Best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: ILLSTVY N12 LILY +20 300
#note LILY seems like a pretty bad play, I think I underestimated the scoring spot it gave back on the O column. I also considered 13E EVILLY which looks better, doesn't give back as much as I expected. The V is also not good to keep. Could do N12 VILL but that gives back even more, or could do F12 SLY or N2 STYLI, both getting rid of the case S, SLY keeps things tighter and STYLI going for the blank, and keeping a leave with less potential to go south.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABDLNOT O13 BOA +37 314
#note First substantial miss of the game (other than not challenging WHEATING*). 15H NOTABLY is 45 and digs a lot deeper into the bag for the last blank. BOA is 2nd best.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EFORSTV 6H .OVER. +19 319
#note didn't think of N2 TROVE which is a more aggressive S setup than COVERT, seems worth it in this scenario since I'm not in a very good position either way, so as long as he doesn't have Z? TROVE can work out a lot of the time
>Jonathan_Lindh: DLNNOTT O4 TOND. +7 321
#note I considered opening more with a play like TONLET or TONED/NOTED but settled on this play. Maybe I was afraid opening would give too much back. I have to hope Chloe can't bingo/score though, can't play scared.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EFKSTTZ K5 Z.K +32 351
#note Debated FEZ and ZEK and seems like I chose wrong, ZEK allows him to score better and lowers my average by 8 points, since it doesn't keep a letter to play on the L column with
>Jonathan_Lindh: AELNTTU 3E ..UT +8 329
#note I made a stroke of genius play. SHUT is best, followed closely by SHUNT in the same spot. The logic is open a new 7's line while keeping the (CEE)S line open.
>Chloe_Fatsis: EFOSTTY I2 FEY +19 370
#note Chloe picked the right line to block.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AAELNT 2I .ETiAL +20 349
#note I didn't see 14E SEALANT for 65. That was my only win. Very sad to miss this. For the second tournament in a row, I missed a game winning blank bingo towards the end of the game with the eventual tournament winner. I was also very low on time.
>Chloe_Fatsis: MOPSTT 14E STOMP +17 387
#note best is L1 MiPS
>Jonathan_Lindh: AN 15G NA +20 369
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (T) +2 371
#note I should have won this one. Most of the game I played pretty well but the NOTABLY, SEALANT, and not challenging WHEATING* were too much to overcome.
