>Jackson: AAILLNT H5 LANITAL +64 64
#note Sid once opened with a bingo, I think EUGENOL, in this type of placement, and it really threw me off. I think the doubling of the L also makes this a better idea, since I don't give two double double lanes. This centralizes the board, which can be nice for defense, and lowers his bingo % the most. This sims neck and neck with the two standard placements, all within 0.2 after a few thousand iterations.

#note sim is close betwen DAVITS, AVID, VATIC, and just VID, which is cool with only 2 As out.
>Jackson: DEFHOUW 10J HOW +40 211
#note felt close between HOWE and HOW. sim is basically tied.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ACSSTVX H1 AX +42 213
#note or VAVS, both are reasonable

#note I like this play
>Jackson: BIIJLWZ 1D JIB +29 305
#note WIZ is more standard, but I liked ZOWIE draws after JIB, plus the Z hits the 8a spot better. sim is close, once again.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CEISSTT 11J ITS +27 264
#note TI(N)T(L)ESS is 44. sims 5 better, this is reasonable though. even PEWIT is okay
>Jackson: EILORWZ E10 ZOWIE +49 354
#note WIZ looks okay at first, but I think this is the call - tons of vowels in the pool, so the EI isn't as dangerous as usual, and this does a good job outrunning. WIZ can still get bingoed on from the W sometimes. Maybe that's the wrong way to look at it - even with CEST implied, ZOWIE kills a sim. WIZ does have solid defense though, so maybe if I can keep that defensive pressure on WIZ works out better... sucks to deal with some Q plays from 8a and stuff, I do like outrunning
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: CDEOSST 14A COSS.TED +76 340
>Jackson: ILPRRTU B1 URP +21 375
#note LURE G6. that is the play, easily.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ACEEIRY D12 EA.Y +34 374
#note nice to set up the sneaky ERS spot
>Jackson: ?ILLMRT 13G MIL +19 394
#note I think LIR(E) G6 is decent here, I did not see that spot again. the 15G spot actually isn't that big, and a lot of his plays can give me back a lane on the 13 row. MILL also looks like a better version of this, I liked countering the consonant heavy pool but RT? bingoes more, and it just works better with stuff like Q draws and hitting the ERS lane on the C column. Q really likes MILL N11, but there are a good amount of plays that fit for him with MILLE, and I think my elevated bingo% may be a bit too high, cause he will likely block. I think MILL or LIRE are the plays, and I prefer MILL for recursion - the IDS spot can be really useful to counter attack later, and the R is useful immediatley for the C column. smallish error
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: BCEIORR C9 CRIER. +34 408
#note tough spot here. CROCI is very reasonable, saving the ER for the C column, countering any IDS plays I can have. However, I almost certainly have the blank with MIL, and I likely don't have many vowels, cause a slew of other plays would be better - so it's super likely I kept an R, and then I likely have the ER for the C column myself, so blocking it seems okay. CROCI or BOCCI sem like fine ideas overall, but CRIERS going to stuff like BOCK are also good. Leaving 3 in the bag seems slightly better, reducing my options a bit more. I think I agree with this play
>Jackson: ?ELORTU G6 LO +16 410
#note the problem here is that I did not notice 8D QIS, so I thought this was defending against BOCK type plays better, cause I could Q stick him or hit a SUQ type play myself. (N)O is a good play that wins in every case except when I draw the Q and he hits a BOCK/YOCK type play, and ties if he plays BICE and I draw the K - LUR(E) G6 is a hard to spot tie. so I win with 8/10 draws, and the other two draws are not guaranteed losses, though I'm a bit more likely than average to draw the Q. I don't love LUCE and ERUCT, Quackle's faves, or ECO - ECO does well in all cases except when he plays QIS immediately, in which case a lot of my draws dont let me score enough to outrun. ERUCT and LUCE can just get into Q trouble, having to dink it for small. I think NO is the best play. LO fucking sucks, it doesn't deal with BOCK/YOCK threats nearly as well as NO, it only deals with the Q draw well, and hits some bingoes as well. I can win with EI (ENURETIC), IO (STOURIE), and when I draw the Q, but that's mostly it - far worse than NO

#note I think this always wins
>Jackson: ?EERTUY 8B Es +9 419
>Jackson: ?EERTUY -- -9 410
#note no wins - SUETY then ROSE/HOWE loses by 1. I laid down ER at first at 10B, and he started nodding knowingly, but then I saw QIS and everything changed - had I kept with ER and he continued missing QIS, I do win. I played this hoping he would slap down QI, cause I win with TUYER - I think I should go with ER though, it's more reasonable that he misses QIS than doesn't challenge this and also plays QI.
