>Josh_Sokol: ?MOSUUY 5J YOU +17 33
>Jonathan_Lindh: AILSTWZ 5C WALTZ +45 52
#note Possibily 5E WIZ for 41 but it's very, very close.
>Josh_Sokol: ?CGIMSU E1 MUSC.InG +62 95
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIIOSST 1D O.ITS +24 76
#note Maybe 1E MISO for 18, but it's very close.
>Josh_Sokol: AAILRTT M5 RATTAIL +66 161
#note Ooh, 8A TAILGATER for 83!
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEHIOSU N6 HOE +31 107
>Josh_Sokol: ADDDGIN O3 ADDING +54 215
#note I did not expect O column plays to yield that many points unless there was a bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EHIRSSU 2I HUSSIER +84 191
#note When I saw this rack, I made the decision I was going to bingo given the deficit. I was about 50-60% sure this was a word. It's not. Josh held but released the hold after a little bit.
>Josh_Sokol: ADEIOPR 3B DIA.PORE +82 297
#note He had this comeback. I wonder if Josh would have challenged HUSSIER* if I played it in the inferior H2 spot blocking DIASPORE.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EFNOTX 2A FOX +41 232
#note Best.
>Josh_Sokol: ADELQUY 11I EQUA.LY +38 335
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EEKNNT M1 K.N +14 246
#note Lousy draw to TEN?. No bingos play here. I offload the K and duplicate N and hope for a bingo. KIN also sets up KAB/BRADDING/AE which will be useful if I can't bingo.
>Josh_Sokol: DEEFMNO 12D FOEMEN +26 361
#note Exhausting the board here. I thought this was a smart play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ABEENT 1M .AB +68 314
#note It's rare for me to intentionally pass on bingos, but it's 100% right here. KAB crushes G8 BASEMENT for 73 by around 10% in win % and 13A BETAINE for 81 by 14%.
>Josh_Sokol: BDINNRV 11C BIND +26 387
#note Another smart play. BIND makes underlaps of FOEMEN a lot harder and leaves 7 in the bag so if I bingo, I empty the bag and leave Josh with the advantage to go out first in the endgame.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EEINRT 1A EN +25 339
#note Another turn where passing up the bingo is best. G8 REGIMENT for 77 and K8 PREUNITE for 59 are available but they almost always lose. I debated between EN, ET, and ER in the 1A spot. ET is supposedly best by a tiny bit but EN is within 1% win % so they are basically equal. I think I made the right call here.
>Josh_Sokol: AEEJNRV C5 .AVER +16 403
#note Partial rack. I forget what Josh's 7th tile was. Josh said he strongly considered B10 JAR for 36, put down O11 YEARN for 27 and then switched it to WAVER. As it turned out, JAR and YEARN would have lost on the spot.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?CEIORT 8B T. +2 341
#note Well this is anticlimactic. It looks like I missed 13G ERGOTIC for 77. That looks like it has enough to win in most cases except for possibly a V draw. An E was in the bag so ERGOTIC would have won. Quackle likes G12 MI for 5, saying it wins 7 out of 8. I considered fishing a tile in around that spot. G12 MO also wins 75% of the time. My play doesn't show up in the Championship Player but does do well on the sim which I don't get, because it only seems to win with L or N draws.
>Josh_Sokol: EJLNPTV L10 T.J +22 425
#note 100% win.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?CEEIOR A4 CORIa +33 374
#note The optimal sequence involves blocking H12 EVEN for 21 but I was under a minute. My sequence is about 7 points off optimal play.
>Josh_Sokol: ELNPV H12 .VEN +21 446
