>Jared_Cappel: DEGOSTT 8G GOD +10 10
#note I thought TEST sounded like a better leave than TEDS. I was very wrong.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEKRSW 7H WE +15 15
#note I completely forgot WEAKER has an anagram that takes an S, REWAKES. This also sims slightly behind AWE 7G which I also considered but ultimately did not choose because I prefered the more contained board after WE.
>Jared_Cappel: EEISTTU J5 UTE +11 21
#note G6 TEGU clearly better. Overlooked it.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEFIKRS 5I K.FI +22 37
#note Quackle prefers KAFIR K7 here, 13 extra points is a lot. It also prefers the wild KAIF K7. You beautiful, wild creature, Quackle.
>Jared_Cappel: EILOSTT K7 TOILETS +71 92
>Morris_Greenberg: ACDEERS M1 CREASED +86 123
>Jared_Cappel: BINPSYZ L4 Z.P +54 146
>Morris_Greenberg: ABIINOU 1H BIONI. +33 156
#note Didn't register NIOBI(C), that is a bit more defensive.
>Jared_Cappel: BEIMNSY 2F MEINY +43 189
>Morris_Greenberg: AIIMUUY 12H AMI.Y +22 178
#note I had a feeling Quackle would prefer exchanging here, I also missed I(L)IUM here (which I would have played had I seen it). While in a vacuum I thought exchanging made sense here, I felt like taking 22 points now complicates Jared's next turn a lot more than exchanging. I basically am going broke for a bingo after exchanging (and beyond that, outbingoing him for the remainder of the game), which seems like a bad strategy against Jared. Sim prefers exchanging, but if I had to guess, a deep enough simulation would make playing vs exchanging roughly even.
>Jared_Cappel: ABLNOSS 3F ALBS +26 215
#note Tough turn. Simming 2nd best slightly behind 9F BONSAI, whch I definitely did not see. I considered BIONICAL* (BIOTICAL is good).
>Morris_Greenberg: DEINRUU 4B RUINED +23 201
#note Quackle much prefers playing off just a U with (M)U I12, I bingo 67% of the time the following turn! Great idea I completely missed, that is clearly better.
>Jared_Cappel: HJNORSW 9F JOW +27 242
#note I saw N6 HORN/WORN of course, but wanted to dump the J. Playing off an extra consonant and scoring more is nice here, the J should be fine with the A of AMITY or U of RUINED even if I don't draw a vowel. My play seems to be a clear mistake.
>Morris_Greenberg: AADEFOU 10J A.OUD +12 213
#note I considered a variety of things (OA(R)ED and FA(R)ED B2, AD(I)EU J10, FADO 10C), though missed Quackle's favorite FA(R)AD B2. I am assuming Jared has an S here due to ALBS two turns ago, so I nix ADIEU as a result. I thought the B2 plays also were too impatient here, while they score immediately, I thought Jared's average score would likely increase by a similar amount to the added poiints from them (though surprisingly, Quackle says the average score for Jared next turn is lower after these plays than ALOUD with just an S inference, as they counterintuitively lead to much fewer bingos). If I had to guess, Quackle is likely to be biased here against a slower play like ALOUD in 4-ply sim just because the path after ALOUD is precise tactical play rather than drawing the right tiles after the B2 plays.
>Jared_Cappel: AEHINRS 13B NEARISH +77 319
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AEFORV 11B bEFAVOR +80 293
#note This is phony, I was 90+% sure it was valid! Unless Jared is sure of bEFAVOR* being phony here, it is very tough for him to challenge anyways. I chose this because I forgot if 1 or both of FAVORER/OVERFAR were valid (and if only 1, which one), and also didn't like how FAVOREd allowed for plays on row 12 with (V)I(A).
>Jared_Cappel: CGLPTVX C3 G.LP +14 333
#note I held BEFAVOR for a while. It looked funny to me, but with so many valid bingos it was a tough challenge and it made sense as a word so I let it go. If I don't challenge, GULP is simming best which I am pleased to see. In post-mortem, Morris (be?)favored VUG at 9M but I wanted to play off more consonants and most importantly take out the most threatening bingo lanes. Quackle agrees.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAHILOQ M9 Q.A +22 315
#note I thought it seemed much more likely HALI(D) would stay open after Q(U)A than the reverse, especially with the X still out. Quackle much prefers HALI(D) fwiw.
>Jared_Cappel: CENTTVX N2 EX +31 364
#note After the game as we were post-morteming, I looked at my rack andinstantly saw VEX at 14A. I'm not sure if during the game I was distracted by football, trying to speed play him, or just going on autopilot, but this is a 10% WP mistake and such an obvious easy play it was maddening. Need to focus.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEHILOR N6 HALI.E +50 365
>Jared_Cappel: ?CNRTTV C10 R.V.T +8 372
#note Thought I was in a winning position, but then Morris makes a beautiful play of HALIDE and I still don''t have vowels. I chickened out on TREVET which I think is best. Quackle also suggests just dropping the V for EVE and not emptying. Unsure what to do here, open to suggestions. I looked at FRANC and FRAT as well but they didn't look winning. I think even if I'm unsure of TREVET, I need to try it.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEGNORT O7 GO +20 385
#note I put down RA(T)TEN first, but decide to play it extra safe in case there was some weird underlap for his letters that I missed (there wasn't). I didn't have a ton of time to make sure.
>Jared_Cappel: ?CNOTU 15A COsT +26 398
