>Morris_Greenberg: ?AABHJN 8G JAB +24 24
>Jared_Cappel: AEEINRS 9H AE +10 10
#note I like how little this gives back. Sims best.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AAHLNS G6 HA. +14 38
#note I figured after the previous play, it is better to play conservatively here and leave the S lanes open. Quackle prefers HAS J6 without inference, I like this still.
>Jared_Cappel: EHINRSY 10H HEY +28 38
#note Sims best after dropping the Y for BEY or YA. ~1.5% WP mistake.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?ALLNSX 11I SAX +31 69
#note I first laid down ALLS J5, I just really disliked the LLN? leave for SAX, but thought that the 12 extra points and tighter board control had to be better. Quackle sim likes them roughly equally, really fascinating.
>Jared_Cappel: ABINRRS 12J RIB +25 63
>Morris_Greenberg: ?GLLNOT G10 TOLL +15 84
>Jared_Cappel: AEENORS M7 ARENOSE +74 137
>Morris_Greenberg: ??EGNRV J2 GoVERNs +77 161
#note I should probably take the extra points for eNGRaVE here N1, even though it is a bit scary to open the triple, the lane ARENOSE created is so easy to hit right now.
>Jared_Cappel: ADEEOPT N2 ADOPTEE +78 215
#note I should play this one spot up. I liked opening up two spots, but the 8O spot is too dangerous.
>Morris_Greenberg: AFIMNUY O8 INFAMY +60 221
#note I chose this over FANUM for 3 fewer because of all of the unseen I's. Quackle prefers FUMY to both plays. I still like INFAMY.
>Jared_Cappel: AGOOSUU -IIIII +0 215
>Morris_Greenberg: CDNTUUV L3 UNCUT +17 238
#note I chose to take 1 fewer point than the F3 spot to minimize bingos, Quackle prefers the other spot. What I didn't consider enough is that _UH created from the F3 spot only works with D of the remaining tiles, and I am holding one of them, so I'd be likelier to use the spot than Jared.
>Jared_Cappel: AEIILNS O1 LIANE +30 245
#note My play sims about 0.75% better than any other. O3 AI takes away the scoring spot while keeping a great leave. That was Morris' suggestion and it also sims very strongly, as does PI. Tough to know whether to take the points or keep the strong leave here. It's neck and neck.
>Morris_Greenberg: DGOTUVW 12D WOU.D +22 260
#note I fail to consider V(A)W 7F here (I had the hook for AAH in mind when Jared played it, but failed to register that I could use it on this turn), that sims pretty evenly with WOULD.
>Jared_Cappel: EFINPRS E11 F.P +16 261
#note I hate taking out the S lane I will need after my fish. The plays simming better are playing off the F only for 5 points. My thougoht was Morris would just take out the TOLLS spot after a fish, but I can still hit REPOSING/SPIERING/CRISPEN etc.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEGKTVZ 13C ZE. +33 293
#note Setting up underlaps with the last A, e.g., VAT.
>Jared_Cappel: EIINRRS 2C RERISIN. +61 322
>Morris_Greenberg: ADGKRTV H1 K.VA +36 329
#note I missed V(I)RGA here, I probably would've preferred it if I saw it. This was a tough turn for me, I considered D(I)RK as well to preserve the case A for row 14, but thought AGTV for the pool looked really tough. Also considered V(E)G D1 to set up another A lane, but thought the H1 spot was too juicy to ignore. DIRK sims 12% ahead of VIRGA and KIVA, this is a really big error! I really disliked AGTV, but I do preserve VAT again this turn at a minimum so it is a very strong play.
>Jared_Cappel: CIOOQT 1A COOT +26 348
>Morris_Greenberg: DEGRSTW 7F D.W +17 346
#note GREW 3A is probably better here, I have the case S after TEW is created there. My logic here was that by grabbing the case S, I am now in good shape to play something like (WE)T next turn D12, but should get rid of some clunk before that. Sim say D(A)W is 7% behind GREW, but the sim will not play the remainder of the game correctly after D(A)W so it is tough to tell.
>Jared_Cappel: Q F1 Q. +11 359
#note Not sure of my leave here, but with no Q spots available had to drop it I felt.
>Morris_Greenberg: EEGRSTU 3B TEG +18 364
#note This is a bad mistake, I thought I had the last two hooks for TEG (S and U) but completely didn't register TEGG is a word too. TEG or TUG 3A look strong, or REGES 3B or GEES 3C.
>Jared_Cappel: GIILMOT 4D GIT +20 379
#note In this case, my speed playing got him into time trouble and it worked out for me, whereas in other games my fast playing may have cost me. This is something we've spoke about on stream when commentating Joey Krafchik's games for example. It's a fine line between playing fast enough to put pressure on your opponent without playing too fast to overlook plays. In this case it worked out for me, but elsewhere in this set it did not.
>Morris_Greenberg: DEIIRSU H12 .IE +6 370
#note I space out on another hook again, I am very low on time here too. This wins if DIEL is missed. Quackle does not find any wins.
>Jared_Cappel: ILMOO 15E MOIL +33 412
>Morris_Greenberg: DIRSU 5A URDS +12 382
>Jared_Cappel: O 6F O. +12 424
>Jared_Cappel: (I) +2 426
