>Matt_Canik: AEIILPS -I +0 0
#note this does well in a sim, but given a more defensive response probably is a bit worse than PIA.
>Smylie: LMOORST H7 MOL +10 10
#note not molto after his x1
>Matt_Canik: AEILPST 7F PI.A +10 10
>Smylie: ?AEORST 8G S.ROrATE +62 72
#note Laid down OlESTRA at first, which is standard given his range and all, could do ROSEATE too since he's probably slightly vowel heavy and S in hand. Played this because I knew the hooks and figured he would have no idea - I've gotten this one wrong before a lot. Given he has an S and given his challenge of SUBNICHE earlier, I should probably not play this, since he's likely to try the S hook just to get the decision out of the way. However, the upside is really high if he chooses wrong in any way - if I get it for myself or if he plays the D

>Matt_Canik: ?DGIMNO 15E MeNDIGO. +83 260
>Smylie: ABEEEUY 14E EYE +32 250
#note I hate these positions, being down on a closed board but not by enough to warrant a serious opening play - have to take my 35% shot at squeaking out a lead
>Matt_Canik: ADEGKW 13E GAWKED +41 301
>Smylie: ABBEITU M1 BUB. +16 266
#note Should probably play this at 14K - he can't block too easily, and I can threaten a big S play. I did like this to start opening the top and the top left, since a lot of plays through the B can make a lane on the 2 row. I hate everything, but between this and the D column opening plays there's a shred of hope. The real way to win this game is to put mild pressure like this and then hit scoring plays to come back, so maybe BUBU downstairs is better for that plan
>Matt_Canik: EF 9G E.F +29 330
>Smylie: AEIIOOT 1K TI.IA +24 290
#note woulda loved to play at D8 here to fork better, but this at least makes a new lane

>Matt_Canik: ENN 10C N.NE +12 354
>Smylie: AEEEGOT 14J AG.E +17 319
#note I think C12 GEE is a better version of this - I hit a few random words from the E in SROROATES, plus PENTOSAN to the N on the C column, and occasionally threaten a scoring play on the B column. this only hits POSTTEEN which is so rare. I was hoping for the S draw here to play F5 TOP next turn
