#player2 Doug_Lundquist Doug Lundquist
>Jonathan_Lindh: GIKLNRS -KL +0 0
#note Thanks to Doug for providing his racks. I liked my play over burning all of my firepower with something like 8D KINGS for 30 because I can hit a lot of bingos with RINGS assuming Doug makes a scoring play and gives me a tile to play through. Even if Doug exchanges, I have a good chance of bingoing.
>Doug_Lundquist: AANNOTX 8E TAXON +24 24
#note 8G NONTAX for 42 is the play here. Had I played KINGS, Doug said he would have bingoed with ANATOXIN.
>Jonathan_Lindh: GIILNRS F7 R.ILINGS +63 63
#note Best bingo. LIGROINS is also available for 60 which I didn't see.
>Doug_Lundquist: ADEGNOT 7H TANGOED +66 90
#note Only bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: BEEEHJZ M3 JEEZ. +42 105
#note I considered E11 BIZ for 30 to see up my E and then wisely thought the better of it. E8 THEBE for 37 sims a little better than my play because it keeps major tiles and gives me a good chance of drawing JEEZE the next turn. I didn't see THEBE. JEEZE is 2nd best.
>Doug_Lundquist: AEHIMRY 13C IMA.ERY +36 126
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ABEEHI 12C AH +26 131
#note H12 BRIE for 27 is a better play. Missed it.
>Doug_Lundquist: BDEMOPV H11 PE.VO +33 159
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?BEEIIU -BEIIU +0 131
#note Bad draw.
>Doug_Lundquist: BDEGU K4 BUG.ED +22 181
#note Unsure of Doug's last 2 tiles.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AAEENR 7E A. +4 135
#note This rack is a royal pain. The only 7 is ANEAREd for 65 which I didn't see. E2 SERENATA for 68 is also available. I should have found one of those but luckily this miss didn't cost me. I almost went a whole tournament without missing a bingo.
>Doug_Lundquist: CHIT 11H .ITCH +24 205
#note Can't read Doug's racks from here.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AEEINR D1 REtINAE +67 202
#note D7 DETAINER and DERACINE score 70, but they also give back some big overlaps and 4 letter S plays with 3 S's out. RETINAE is fine, maybe REGINAE instead?
>Doug_Lundquist: EFM C2 FEM +27 232
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADENORS 1D .EADORNS +77 279
#note Only bingo.
>Doug_Lundquist: IIL L11 .ILI +14 246
>Jonathan_Lindh: EILLQSW 11E Q. +22 301
#note Best.
>Doug_Lundquist: ABD 2F BAD +28 274
>Jonathan_Lindh: EILLSUW C7 WILL +23 324
#note Right idea but C6 LWEI for 25 is a little better.
>Doug_Lundquist: AEIU N6 A.IEU +23 297
>Jonathan_Lindh: EOSTUUV 13L .UV +12 336
#note Bad miss. O1 UVEOUS for 42. That cements the game.
>Doug_Lundquist: FOR N2 FOR +23 320
>Jonathan_Lindh: ENOSTUY O1 YET +33 369
>Doug_Lundquist: CKO 5D .OCK +20 340
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?NOSSTU O11 OUSTS +25 394
#note O10 NUTSOS for 30 is the best play here. I was under 30 seconds so I did not see that play. My play is -6 back.
>Doug_Lundquist: OPRTW 9M P.W +11 351
#note 14H VOW for 22 is best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?N 14H .aN +11 405
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (ORT) +6 411
#note Final score recorded as 413-344 so we had some scoring errors here.
