>Ken_Rubin: ?EGIMQX 7E GEM +19 19
>Mark_Edward_Owens: ANW 6D NAW +30 46
>Ken_Rubin: ?IOQRUX E4 QU.. +28 47
>Mark_Edward_Owens: AEIOSU 4C SE.UOIA +34 80
>Ken_Rubin: ?CIORRX 9E ORC +21 68
#note Other suggested plays by Quackle like OXIC 9D and XI 3B are no good because they're way too aggressive. ORC is preferred because it is much more defensive.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: AEILNOT J6 TOENAIL +70 150
>Ken_Rubin: ?DEFIRX 3I FIXED +49 117
#note Didn't know REFIXED. Not a terrible miss because FIXED I3 is still pretty good, but I should have known REFIXED.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: EKNO 2J KENO +48 198
>Ken_Rubin: ?AAIRTV 1K VARIA +48 165
#note Missed AVIARIST 11E and AVIATRIX 11D. Both would have been better than VARIA which I preferred to TRAVAIL D9 or TRAVAILS 12D, both of which I did see.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: DGLU 11H GU.LD +14 212
>Ken_Rubin: ?HORTUZ G1 OUZ. +23 188
#note I preferred OUZO E9 for 3 points less than OUZO G1 because I wanted to keep the board open--specifically to keep open the TORC fronthook possibility at D9 for next turn. Otherwise, without holding an S, I'm feeling the board isn't really open for me.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: AGSTY 13J STAGY +26 238
>Ken_Rubin: ?FHIRRT H11 .RIFT +30 218
#note Wasn't sure between FROTH 1E and GRIFT H11. I like that GRIFT opens the board and that keeping the O open on the 1 line may unsettle Mark and lead to a suboptimal play to close that opening.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: INPT 1D PIN.T +30 268
>Ken_Rubin: ?DEHJNR L9 JE.D.H +36 254
>Ken_Rubin: ?DEHJNR -- -36 218
#note Not sure why I played JEDDAH. I think it's something from Star Wars. I panicked and hoped that Mark wouldn't challenge. I could have just played VEXED K1 for 32. That cuts the lead to 18 points which is doable.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: ABOT 14L BOAT +29 297
>Ken_Rubin: ?DEHJNR 15N HE +30 248
>Mark_Edward_Owens: EETW 4K TWEE +47 344
>Ken_Rubin: ?DEJNRS -DJ +0 248
#note At this point, I wasn't really sure what to do. REND 12L or DJiNS O4 has to be better than exchanging DJ.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: CHIM E9 .HMIC +24 368
>Ken_Rubin: ?EENRSS 15A SERENeS. +74 322
#note I thought my best hope at this point was SERENEST at 15A to create two bingo openings, and hope to draw the blank and bingo on the next turn.
>Mark_Edward_Owens: BDERV 12A VERB.D +32 400
