#player2 Cooper_Komatsu Cooper Komatsu
>Jonathan_Lindh: HINNRST 8G NTH +12 12
#note Before Day 3 started, there was an equipment set with a low battery clock at table 2. It got moved to table 6, which is where Cooper and I played this game. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it would impact both of us during the match. NINTH and NTH are very close, but Quackle prefers NINTH.
>Cooper_Komatsu: FUZ H6 FU.Z +16 16
>Jonathan_Lindh: GIIORST 9H .IG +20 32

>Cooper_Komatsu: ?EHILNO 10I pINHOLE +73 89

>Cooper_Komatsu: AANQ 12K QANA. +28 117
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAAGITT 13I AGITA +31 140
#note TAIGA was 1 point more in this spot, although it would have given Cooper a better comeback.
>Cooper_Komatsu: DEELORY 14C YODELER +65 182
#note Only bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADESTTV 15H DEV +33 173
#note I felt I needed to take row 15 so no N1 VATTED and I didn't want to blow the rack up fully. DEV seems to accomplish these things and scores a bunch.
>Cooper_Komatsu: CIJU C10 JUIC. +34 216
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ARSSTT N1 STAReTS +73 246
#note This play led to a series of comical events. It takes me 3 minutes to see this bingo which is the only N1 bingo. It takes me another 5-6 minutes to play it because I start doubting the word and I was searching for something better. STARETS is the highest scoring and best bingo. Cooper holds. After 15 seconds, I take a courtesy draw and OVERDRAW on my courtesy draw. None of us has been in this situation so we have to call Ed over who says Cooper has to accept/challenge the play first before throwing back 1 from my rack. Cooper accepted and he threw an I(?) back into the bag. At board 1 (I think), Cecilia and Bynak had this exact same scenario happen while our overdraw occurred. This owhole game felt like surreal Scrabble dream that people have. Pretty soon, one of us could start drawing breakfast cereal from the tile bag.

#note Unsure again. I feel I need to bingo.
>Cooper_Komatsu: IMX 7D MIX +21 372
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACEENOR 8C OE +10 328
#note This play was sweet. Spreading the board again and opening up previously unusable space so I can bingo again.
>Cooper_Komatsu: BEINRSU A6 BURNIES +89 461
>Cooper_Komatsu: BEINRSU -- -89 372
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACDENRT B2 TRANCED +86 414
#note The clock was flickering on and off during the course of the game, I was down to 2 1/2 minutes and I had this hard scenario to work out. I just automatically bingoed and hoped Cooper would miss which doesn't seem like a good idea. Post-mortem, Cooper came up with me playing COX, but I don't hit any bingos ending a a vowel so I am 100% reliant on Cooper not blocking row B, which seems like a stretch. M9 D(O)N(NA) for 8 is a solid option, going for CREMATE/ACERATE/CARTAGE/CIGARET. Cooper would probably block CIGARET but wouldn't be able to block CARTAGE and couldn't block CREMATE or ACERATE because they play in two spots. On the BURNIES/SKIR turn, H1 REINFUSE for 33 apparently wins close to 100% of the time even though I bingo immediately after.
>Cooper_Komatsu: BEINRSU 2B .URBINES +62 434
#note TRIBUNES/TURBINES are Cooper's only wins.
>Cooper_Komatsu: (AEGIM) +16 450
#note Final score recorded 448-413 because Cooper underscored something by 2 and I underscored something by 1.
