#note Meanwhile, Nuala had made a critical misplay at the end of her game, allowing Neil to pull out a close win. Gutted for her, so close to winning the tournament. I fully admit I was the beneficiary of an interesting choice of pairings, but I'm also happy with the quality of my play, especially a) not having played at all since Word Cup back in July, and b) only one day after the long flight to Europe.
