>Jared_Cappel: BDEJNOU 8G JOB +24 24
>Morris_Greenberg: EEGGNPY 9H PYE +27 27
#note I forgot if YEGG was good (and it wasn't just YEGGMAN/YEGGMEN), and also correctly decided PEGGY* was invalid. YEGG is a bit better than this if I am sure of it.
>Jared_Cappel: ADEEFNU 10J FEU +27 51
#note 10I EF sims better. I like setting up my D and not an S I don't have, but EF scores 7 more. Thi sims as a ~0.75% WP mistake.
>Morris_Greenberg: EEGGINN L7 GEN.INE +18 45
#note Quackle likes GEE 10F the most which seems a bit crazy for my liking, even though it does set up the possibility of (OPE)NINGS if I draw an S and don't hit a bingo. It also prefers GENE keeping ING, that looks a bit bette than my play.
>Jared_Cappel: ADEELNT M11 DEL +17 68
#note He blocked both spots for LATENED which frustrated me. I considered LATEENED* which I knew was phony but it's a tough challenge because of LATEENER being valid. That said, this word had come up in a casual game recently, and I wasn't sure if it was against Morris so I decided not to play it. After the game, it sounded like he would have accepted LATEENED* so I should have went for it. For non-phony plays, my play does sim best. These plays are tricky, trying to balance scoring and leave on bingo prone tiles.
>Morris_Greenberg: AGIIMOT M3 IMAGO +22 67
#note Was choosing between IMAGO and AMIGO in the end (I briefly considered ATIGI too, but wasn't sure if I was just thinking of ARTIGI and didn't think the face value of it differed all that much from the others to justify it). Figured I was slightly more defensive than A against parallel play options.
>Jared_Cappel: AAEENTX L2 AXE +37 105
>Morris_Greenberg: EGILOTU K10 .GO +21 88
>Jared_Cappel: ?AENRTZ K4 REZ +29 134
#note I missed TZAREvN(A), a tough find but I don't remember looking for a bingo there which is weak. My play sims 3rd, also behind K5 TZAR.
>Morris_Greenberg: EILPTUU 6H PUT. +17 105
#note Nothing seemed great here, I figured this did a better job than most other plays scoring a bit, not opening anything crazy, but leaving flexibility to open the board at the right time.
>Jared_Cappel: ?AANRST 10B TARpANS +65 199
#note Making the Z a blank for TARzans or a T for RatTANS is slightly better to give one fewer tile to bingo through. My play is next best.
>Morris_Greenberg: EIILRUY C10 .UREI +10 115
#note Put (T)UILE down first to try tokeep things a bit more volatile, but felt Jared would get too easy a big counterplay to merit it. Quackle slightly prefers YI(P) H4 to this, which is a nice idea to go for ILY bingos while preserving this portion of the board for later.
>Jared_Cappel: DDOOQRT 14B Q. +22 221
#note There are about 8 plays simming up to 1.5% better than mine and they all keep the Q. I didn't think twice about dropping the Q here on a board where it doesn't play. N5 DOT sims best. It forms GOT, which does not take an S, making the play more defensive than it originally looks. Still, I don't want to hold onto the Q on this board for so few points and I like starting to take out bingo lanes.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAILLTY J2 LAT +11 126
#note Nothing is great here, I figured this at least forces Jared to address a spot that could be tough to block without opening more options on a previously dead area of the board.
>Jared_Cappel: DDOORST 1F DODOS +25 246
>Morris_Greenberg: AAILSVY 12A VA.Y +28 154
#note I need to start scoring some points in addition to bingoing at this point.
>Jared_Cappel: CEIIRTU 2B CURIE +23 269
>Morris_Greenberg: AIILOST 15A OI +17 171
>Jared_Cappel: AEIIKRT D1 K.AI +26 295
#note Sims about 0.5% WP better to play KRAIT in the same spot. I don't mind keeping the hook and the more balanced rack, but it's also nice to go for the last blank and stop 5 row bingos. It's close but taking out the 7s lane is probably the more important factor here.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADHILST 3C H.D +27 198
>Jared_Cappel: EEINRTW 11E EW +17 312
#note 5A WINTER (forming KRAIT) is a bit better with my huge lead.
>Morris_Greenberg: AHILNST 5K .L.N +15 213
>Jared_Cappel: CEINRTW N7 TIC +9 321
#note Again, it wants me to play WINTER. I wanted to take out the easier lane to hit and the one he likely has the hooks for and I don't.
>Morris_Greenberg: AFHISST O1 HAFTS +41 254
#note I have to hope he doesn't block KRAIS and I am in business
>Jared_Cappel: ELMNRRW F9 L..MEN +13 334
#note Championshiip player says this is the only play that is 100% to win. Glad I took the extra minute to find this.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?EINOST 5B mESTINO +75 329
#note I didn't think much about playing off a tile and emptying the bag (I had under 2 minutes), bingoing never wins, (DEL)I (which Jared suggested after the game) ties if a W is in the bag and loses with perfect play the rest of the time (but could induce mistakes that lead to losses, such as trying to block with BROW/B(ONE) to allow bRO(W)NEST/(DELI)S).
>Jared_Cappel: ABIORRW G12 OW +22 356
#note G12 OR setting up WAIR or 12F MO setting up BRAW. I needed to think setup, but I was spending much of the last of my time making sure he didnt have a V spot.
>Morris_Greenberg: V - +0 329
>Jared_Cappel: ABIRR 1N A. +5 361
#note As Morris pointed out, playing A, then AB is the same amount of points as playing them together. Championship player says it's 2 points better to start the sequence with (DEL)I, which I saw as a candidate play for Morris to open the board but missed as an option for my own out sequence.
>Morris_Greenberg: V - +0 329

#note DELI
>Morris_Greenberg: V - +0 329
