#note NANOWIRE# (which I knew was a Collin) was a bit tempting at this early deficit. I think Alec said or implied (to me) after the game that he would've confidently challenged it.

#note Sim thinks this is close with exchanging. I had some trouble deciding, myself. Was tempted to play SIENITIC*, another intentional phony.
>Alec: ?HIIRUZ 14N HI +22 224
#note Something like this? I think he said he considered fishing for RHIZOBI(A) and was missing BO.
>Noah: EIINOST 11E OI +6 136
#note Wasn't sure where to put this. Q much prefers OI M3, though I wonder how much that has to do with him giving back O column plays with scores. Though he might do that, especially if the N column spot is his best one. Large mistake by Quackle's lights, 5 points or so.

#note Tricky. ORIENTS of course scores most but looked kind of bleak, though it does at least leave me with row 6. SENORITA looks easy to overlap for cheap points, but does leave me the strong column N lane , and does at least open major threats. ORIENTS N2 handily wins the valuation sim, but I'm not sure it's what I want to be doing here. Maybe I could play ORIENTS at N1?? I don't think I considered it, though the NEWSY potential doesn't look so useful for me.

#note He started laying this down at 2B and it was like damn, blocked GRIPSACK, game over, but then finished with this Collin.
>Noah: ACGIKRS 1E GRI.SACK +72 358
#note I took a bit here, because it looked easy for him to win in the endgame after this, and perhaps there was a fish that worked better. Maybe I didn't try hard enough. I also think I felt pulled to play this rather than a non-bingo (not bingoing feels like it looks stupid or something?). But, after I played this, I noticed an idea that looked like it had some potential. Then, in the post-mortem, Alec noticed another possible unseen bingo, which further helped the fish I noticed. Answer on my next turn's commentary.
>Alec: ?ALMPTT A4 PL.sM +30 375
#note Alec held here - he said until he found a tie with -- maybe -- PLasMA (actually, Quackle rates that winning, and tied with many things for best), and then after he released he found this, a win.
>Noah: AEJY C3 JAY. +28 386
#note So I noticed I could play IS I2, blocking PALMETTO and going for PACKAGER. In the post-mortem, at first it seemed like PACKAGER would be the only bingo from Alec's perspective, so he can just block it. However, I think Alec then noticed GRAYBACK (which I think he didn't know or think was good, or wasn't that confident in), which is nice! Given GRAYBACK, Alec seems to need to block with PALMTo(P), but I think Alec said he wouldn't have blocked, by my best understanding, because of his poor knowledge of GRAYBACK (I'm not sure I believe this is how it would shake out), so maybe IS could've worked? It still looks 0% against optimal, but might be a better try than GRIPSACK, though spread is perhaps meaningful and an advantage of GRIPSACK. Carl also pointed out (DA)K, which threatens SPAGYRIC and AGARICS, but sTAMP/DAKs looks like a winning easy counter to that.
