>Arie_Sinke: IKNPRTU 8H PRINK +32 32
#note This is a great rack to go second with because of TURNPIKE. This isn't great; TUPIK for the same score keeps a much better leave.
>Ryan_Chepita: CFU J6 CU.F +15 15
>Arie_Sinke: GLRSTTU 10F GLUTS +24 56
#note This looks best.
>Ryan_Chepita: BEENNOU 6G MIO.ENES +64 79
>Ryan_Chepita: BEENNOU -- -64 15
>Arie_Sinke: AAFLRTU L8 .URTA +18 74
#note This doesn't do very well in the sim. It seems like the F really hurts my leave here and I should prioritize playing it off with something like FAUCAL or FACTUAL or FLATCAR (FLATCAR surprises me, as the lone U is a poor leave. Creating KURTAS when I don't have an S and Ryan does also isn't great for the long term.
>Ryan_Chepita: EM M9 ME +16 31
>Arie_Sinke: AAFILNO N10 FOLIA +46 120
#note This looks best.
>Ryan_Chepita: INOSY O7 NOISY +36 67
>Arie_Sinke: AEGLNPR 15L PARE +36 156
#note I convinced myself that GRAPNEL was no good here and I was thinking of GRAPLIN and GRAPLINE. I'm already on a losing streak at this point and the self-doubt is crippling.
>Ryan_Chepita: ?ADEENW 13F DEEWANs +74 141
>Arie_Sinke: EGILNRR H13 .RG +12 168
#note This is better than it looks because the G at 15H goes very well with my leave. However, the play that stands out is M9 MERL for 16, keeping EGINR, which is stronger than my leave. This is a distant second or third best
>Ryan_Chepita: EGZ J12 G.ZE +34 175
>Arie_Sinke: EILNRTT 14M L.T +7 175
#note This looks weak but it actually wins the sim by far.
>Ryan_Chepita: HOO 11F OOH +16 191
>Arie_Sinke: AEINRTX 15A RETAXIN. +101 276
#note Only bingo.
>Ryan_Chepita: BDIMOOQ N6 QI +33 224
>Arie_Sinke: DDNNOOT 12B TONDO +18 294
#note This looks best.
>Ryan_Chepita: BEW 14B WEB +32 256
>Arie_Sinke: ADDLNSV B10 VA. +14 308
#note Weird situation. Exchanging doesn't make sense here; I'm not likely to get anything great and I need to keep the points coming (not that I succeeded at that much on subsequent turns). Sim recommends AVOSET C10 for 18, which my defensive side really doesn't care for. I really have no clue what to do here but this is probably okay. I also think I'm up by 7 more points than I am due to scoring errors by both of us.
>Ryan_Chepita: AE I12 A.E +21 277
>Arie_Sinke: ADDLNRS 11A D.D +8 316
#note Sim prefers LAD or a play that I missed earlier in the game, MERL M9 for 16.
>Ryan_Chepita: V 7M V.. +10 287
>Arie_Sinke: AIILNRS D10 NA. +9 325
#note This isn't very good; if my goal is to clean up the rack, I can play ILIAC; if I want to score a few points while keeping the board dead, MERL is the play.
>Ryan_Chepita: IY 6I I.Y +8 295
>Arie_Sinke: EIILRSU C9 LI.. +12 337
#note Ryan's play of ICY makes it extremely difficult for me to prevent bingos from happening. This does poorly in the sim, as it blocks nothing; I should consider LIEUS 5E if I want to block, or exchanging if I want to threaten to bingo myself.
>Ryan_Chepita: EH K4 HE. +18 313
>Arie_Sinke: AEEIRSU 4K .UE +12 349
#note An interesting option is EAU J2, which creates a second spot to bingo; I retain a strong leave of EIRS, so I may be able to exploit it. This is a bit behind but it does seem like HUE is better than any attempt to block, as I'm not in a spot where I can afford to sacrifice equity.
>Ryan_Chepita: ?BCEJOS 5C OBJECtS +86 399
>Arie_Sinke: AEIIMRS 4A MESA +28 377
#note This is my best endgame play. I think I played erratically here and it cost me the game. We made numerous scoring errors and recorded the score as 415-386.
>Ryan_Chepita: OT 3M TO +8 407
>Ryan_Chepita: (IIR) +6 413
