Player 1
#player1 Jeff_Cook Jeff Cook
#player2 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
>Jeff_Cook: ACD 8G CAD +12 12
#note The night before the last day I slept 6.5 hours in a row without waking up which I rarely do and I had a strange feeling I would go winless the final day. The strange feeling turned out to be accurate.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEFIRSU I6 FU. +8 8
#note Jeff pointed out J6 CUIF after the game which is the right play. FUD keeps a great leave but 14 points are too many too give up.
>Jeff_Cook: ?BEIIRT G5 BIT.hIER +62 74
#note F5 BITSIER is 68. I always find that one hard to see.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEIIRSU H1 CURIE +28 36
#note Didn't look hard enough. 12F CRUISIER for 72. CURIE is 2nd best at least.
>Jeff_Cook: EENRW H11 RENEW +32 106
#note RENEW also would not have played here had I done CRUISIER.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIORSWX F9 OX +51 87
#note I didn't like the ?OBE front hook so I opted for F9 OX.
>Jeff_Cook: AFT I12 FAT +18 124
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIOPRSW F5 OP +25 112
#note No WOP in NWL20.
>Jeff_Cook: ILL E3 ILL +18 142
>Jonathan_Lindh: EINRSVW 2B VIEW +27 139
#note WIVERNS doesn't play. I considered 2A WIVERN as well but thought VIEW was safer.
>Jeff_Cook: TZ C1 Z.T +24 166
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ANRSST J1 SARSNeT +64 203
#note There are 66-68 point bingos, but all of them open up some really major spots. I'm fine with SARSNET.
>Jeff_Cook: AEMRY 1J .MEARY +36 202
#note Good play. I didn't expect Jeff to have the tiles to play a 6 to the S.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABEENOS 3J .OBE +12 215
#note Unsure of what to do on this play. Nothing still jumps out at me.
>Jeff_Cook: MOO L3 .OOM +16 218
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEGINS M1 .G. +4 219
#note Another near miss. AGNISED# is Collins. Finish the A with ZA? Fish the G? Fish the D?
>Jeff_Cook: AIJS J9 AJIS +34 252
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEINSY F1 AY +35 254
#note Another near miss but AY is best at least.
>Jeff_Cook: NOT K9 TON +21 273
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEHIKNS J14 HI +27 281
#note 4A KHI is a better mix of scoring and leave. HI still isn't bad.
>Jeff_Cook: EEGINOP M6 EPIGONE +69 342
#note Almost a repeat of our last game. Jeff takes one of the few remaining bingo lines before I could get DARKENS down.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEKNRS 8L K.ND +42 323
#note I debated between KIND and N10 plays like KARNS, KERNS, and KANES. Quackle likes my play best.
>Jeff_Cook: DHLO N10 HOLD +33 375
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEERSTU B2 .ATU +9 332
#note AUSTERE is now homeless. What do you here? I decided to open up a line or two with VATU. Quackle has it as 2nd best behind 7E EAT which seems a lot easier to block than my play. VATU blocks sometimes result in 8's. I think I like my play best.
>Jeff_Cook: ADEGILN L12 DING +24 399
#note I think Jeff said the Q was the last tile in the bag which makes DEALING his rack. I thought DING was a craetive move to insure Jeff doesn't get stuck with Q.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEERSUV O11 REAVE +39 371
#note Best play. Nothing wins.
>Jeff_Cook: AELQ 5A Q.A +12 411
#note 7E QAT is 17 but both plays win 100%.
>Jonathan_Lindh: SU A3 SU. +19 390
#note Best play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (EL) +4 394
#note I underscored SUQ by 1 so the score was recorded as 411-393.
