#note this is not a word and certainly not signifcantly better (or better at all) than the best valid options. 9F NONE sims a lot better due to scoring defense and immediate score. I had gotten way too averse to bad leaves at this point in my Scrabble quest. #knowledgemedium #strategymedium

#note can't give back FILAREES with DEBARKING now, so I thought to keep it for next turn. If Wallace knows DEBARKERS (I surely didn't), it's possibly better to play IGUAN(A), but even then my bingo chances are way higher after this+DEBARKERS that it still may seem worth it. In terms of human play, this has to be best.
>wallace_schultz: AEEFLRS 5E FE. +12 90
#note Wally said he chickened out of DEBARKERS.
>josh: GGIJNOU 8G ......ING +51 145
#note tough choice here again. I could open nothing of import with M3 JOG and sacrifice a lot of points, go with DEBARKING now and eat his bingos, or go with JINGO 4A which seems to be most thematic, hoping to respond to a bingo with a scoring play from the J. Big issue with both JINGO and DEBARKING is that they bail out a lot of draws. AI and II in particular get bailed out bigtime with bingos after DEBARKING and JAILER with JINGO. That's just the beginning. However, he bingos so often no matter what (2/3 if I do nothing and he finds everything) that it's maybe worth giving up here. I so often sacrifice points to play JOG and get bingo-ed on from the C. But the lingering issue is DEBARKERS. Since Quackle once again assumes DEBARKERS will be played if Wally doesn't bingo, other plays (JINGO and JOG) are a lot more reasonable than Quackle thinks. Considering the numbers and what I know here, I think this was a minor mistake, despite winning the sim. Definitely a tough position to sus out without calculating and iterating, which I don't think I did either. #strategysmall
>wallace_schultz: AEHLORS 1H .HOLERAS +92 182
#note maybe I should chalk up the position to whatever tell I might have had on Wally's draw. In which case DEBARKING was fine. :/
>josh: EGIJOTU 6B JUTE +32 177
#note possibly slightly tilted. No real reason here to keep the G upon reanalysis. I am definitely behind now, which makes Quackle like JU(N)TO N6 way too much. But just JI(N)GO seems reasonable enough. GET(UP) 4D has some surprise potential as it scores best and keeps JU(N) for next turn. Quackle likely thinks I'm playing (B)IJOU often after GET(UP), which isn't super likely. GOJI/IF was my other idea, but JOG M3 as well is still reasonable. #questionable

>wallace_schultz: DEGINOY 7A EON +16 208
>josh: EIOOQTY 2H .EY +32 218
#note I thought it was between this and exchanging down to TE. Surprisingly, the play that stands out is J4 TOO, which allows my rack to balance itself better next turn I guess, sans duplicates. #questionable
>wallace_schultz: EF 8A FE +40 248
