>Arie_Sinke: ELNNRTV -LNV +0 0
#note This looks substantially better than VENT (the only reasonable play.)
>Wallace_Schultz: IORZ 8E ZORI +26 26
>Arie_Sinke: ?CEINRT H8 .NdICTER +86 86
#note Highest scoring bingo.
>Wallace_Schultz: IOR E8 .ORI +26 52
>Arie_Sinke: AEELPTV 12C VELA +28 114
#note Or VALE; not much to choose between.
>Wallace_Schultz: ANUY 10B UNA.Y +18 70
>Arie_Sinke: AAEFPRT G14 FA +12 126
#note This is the right idea, but I miss two substantially better plays - RATAFEE 14B for 36 and FA(VELA) 12A for 16. FAVELA gets four more points for the same two tiles without obstructing the floaters in INdICTER, and RATAFEE scores 36. Surprisingly, FAVELA and RATAFEE are very comparable despite the score disparity.
>Wallace_Schultz: BCIU 12H .UBIC +22 92
>Arie_Sinke: AEENPRT K8 APER.ENT +70 196
#note Highest scoring bingo.
>Wallace_Schultz: GOX L6 GOX +36 128
>Arie_Sinke: ?BEHLMT I3 THiMBLE +85 281
#note Only bingo. I have now used the L hook on ZORI twice in one game.
>Wallace_Schultz: AIL 8K ..IAL +36 164
>Arie_Sinke: EFIIOUV H1 VIE +20 301
#note This is not a very good play. If I'm going to be playing VIE in this general area of the board, I might as well play it at J2 for an extra point and block one more line. However, the best plays seem to either score far more (such as FOB J10 for 31) or clear out the rack better (OUTVIE 3G for 10, ENVOI 14J for 20 leaves a marginally better FIU as opposed to FIOU). Even FOU in the same spot leaving EIIV looks better than this. This play is a weaker compromise.
>Wallace_Schultz: AEEIPST O5 EPI.ATES +61 225
>Arie_Sinke: ADFIOSU 4H S.ADUF +36 337
#note This wins the sim marginally over OAFISH in the same spot.
>Wallace_Schultz: EKN M7 K.NE +25 250
>Arie_Sinke: GIOOQRT M1 GOO. +16 353
#note TRIGO 15K does well in the sim, possibly because I often get QAT 14M for 43. GOOF has the advantage of blocking a few high scoring bingos from the V. I like GOOF.
>Wallace_Schultz: AW J9 AW +32 282
>Arie_Sinke: ILNOQRT 15C QINT.. +16 369
#note Maybe TRIGON 1J instead? This is probably fine.
>Wallace_Schultz: DEOS N1 ODES +35 317
>Arie_Sinke: EEILORY J6 YE +32 401
#note It's this or YO. With no Es unseen YO may be slightly better.
>Wallace_Schultz: ADDGHJM 3G J.. +18 335
>Arie_Sinke: EILNORW 15K .WINE +36 437
#note This or TWIRL or TWIER can lose by 4 to STAGHORN C3. It would be better to play something like LOGOI 1K, which doesn't empty the bag and outrus in a worst-case scenario. I just assumed I was taking a large enough lead to secure the win.
>Wallace_Schultz: ADS O1 DAS +34 369
>Arie_Sinke: DGLMOOR F5 GLO.M. +18 455
#note My best option is to play DOUR D8 for 5, setting up GLOM, which isn't worth blocking because GLOOMY also plays.
>Wallace_Schultz: HRTU 5C THU. +16 385
>Arie_Sinke: DOR N11 DOR +9 464
#note Best out.
>Arie_Sinke: (R) +2 466
