>Noah_Walton: EEGILOU H4 GUILE +16 16
#note 2022 Word Cup R18
>Jackson: EFIIRWY 8E WIF.Y +14 14
#note Jackson: didn't consider enough options this turn, just the two WIFEYs and WIF(E)Y. WILY and WIFELY are also worth considering. WILY is super defensive and looks best here. Q prefers WIFEY a bit to WIF(E)Y as well. this is an error for sure
>Noah_Walton: AEEELMO 7F MO.A +24 40
>Jackson: AEIQRRU 6D QUA +21 35
#note Jackson: really bad miss of UMIAQ here.
>Noah_Walton: DEEEILO 9E OE +13 53
>Jackson: EINRRTU J1 RUNTIER +68 103
#note Jackson: I think this should be D9 RUNTIER. I figured that his range with OE was fairly bingo prone, and the NTIER lanes (especially NTR) I'm giving him really raise his bingo %. However, the R at J1 is still quite dangerous on its own, and this placement of RUNTIER is generally just worse for giving back just one main scoring spot, benefitting him and not me. Given I'm not going up by a ton, I should just do D9.
>Noah_Walton: DEEHIIL 1G HEI.ED +36 89
#note Noah: Held and released.
>Jackson: ALORTTT C3 OTTAR +25 128
#note Jackson: This should probably be TOTAL. I felt he probably averaged a bit more after TOTAL than OTTAR, which is true, but I also average even more more after TOTAL cause of the beter leave.
>Noah_Walton: EEEIILR 4E ELE.I. +7 96
#note Noah: Other options: RETIE, TIE, I guess at 4C? Maybe LEI or LIE D2. I might've missed INLIER.
>Jackson: EELNPRT 9D P..T +14 142
#note Jackson: quackle absolutely hates this but I don't. This takes out a main lane, and while his range after ELEGIT isnt super strong, I'm still ahead and like forcing him to bingo on one of the more marginal lanes. Maybe I should just do 2F PEN here, but this starts to restrict the board like I want
>Noah_Walton: ABEIRVW 2F VAW +27 123
>Jackson: EELNNOR 9I EN +10 152
#note Jackson: maybe just (D)ONNE, which I didn't see. This does let him start with a D or G, but those bingoes also score less and open the triple. I should probably do DONNE here cause ELNOR isn't great and there are SSSS?? to draw, but this play feels like it's what I want to do to the board. Q say every turn so far has been an error
>Noah_Walton: BDEIIRT D1 BID +12 135
#note Noah: Tough decision for me. Still not sure how to make this call. Sim likes BRIT, which I considered, but S-starting 2x2s I think made me shy away. I think I often say no to plays that give my opponent potential for a big response, but I need to play more boldly instead - most of the time, he won't have it, though EN means it's more likely than usual.
>Jackson: ?ELNNOR E8 ..RN +14 166
>Noah_Walton: AEIKRRT 1A KER. +30 165
>Jackson: ?EGLNOO B7 ENOLOGy +61 227
#note missed LO(N)GErON, which is better defensively
>Noah_Walton: AAIJRST A13 AJI +31 196
>Jackson: AAMOOUY A5 MAYO +39 266
>Noah_Walton: ?ACLRST K9 SCARLeT +69 265
>Jackson: ADEHOSU 15K .HUDS +39 305
#note This sims almost as high as SOUTHED, but I think quackle underestimates this in a sim cause it underestimates the value of vowels moving forward in the game. AEO is very good with the pool, 5/19 vowels, and vowels will be useful for hitting stuff like N10 plays and parallels. I can see SOUTHED being good as well but I prefer this
>Noah_Walton: BCEIOVZ N10 VOICE. +40 305

>Jackson: AENOPST C11 POET +23 370
#note NEAP is 4 better
