#note looks close between this and TIZ

#note TWIG/IT and WIGLE(T) are also worth considering, I think I would play one of them. I kinda like WIGLET to open the board more when he's down a tempo. EW is just gross, and I think GILT after LWEI isn't good enough to justify opening the lanes

>Jackson: DDIORUV N7 VI.OUR +12 213
#note interesting choice between DYVOUR and VIGOUR. DYVOUR has some defensive advantages, killing G and I columns, letting me possibly kill everything with a play through the G next turn. Josh is definitely capable of making fake setups, playing ZIG without an S, but he still has an S very often, imo. With no range implied, the sim has VIGOUR down 11-12. With ES implied, It still has DYVOUR up by about half a point. There's definite value in VIGOUR in the longer term, since I can make future defensive plays killing G and I. I think this decision was fine, but DYVOUR is very defensible as well

>Jackson: ABCEENS I1 ABSENCE +69 406
#note N14 BE was very worth considering. ABSENCE can lose to big triple triples then getting outrun in the endgame, or triple triples then bingoes after, which are possible with two blanks out and the C column open. However, the timing of ABSENCE is still pretty good for beating triple triples, since it leaves 8 in the bag (6 or 7 would be better, of course), giving me almost perfect information for the preendgame, and I'll likely have a small lead. BE can lose to two bingoes, which feels very possible given the pool. However, after BE, I also have to not bingo myself, so it's possible that's safer overall, to gamble on not having him bingo twice and me bingo zero times. It's worth noting that given the dearth of vowels in the pool, the A at 1I is about as dangerous a letter as I can put out. I'm not sure which of the two plays are better. My gut now is BE, but I'm not positive. It was also a consideration that he likely didn't have a blank with PEDAL.
