>Chloe_Fatsis: ACEGOW H7 COW +16 16
#note Going into the final round, we had five people at 12-5. Joey was at +1031, Joe was at +924, Chloe was at +897, I was at +856, and Laurie was at +591. Chloe and I were both hoping for Joe to beat Joey, then we have to beat one another by 28 more than that for her, or 69 more than that for me. Spread was a pretty big consideration for both of us, but especially for me. Joe and Joey started a bit before us
>Jackson: ?AEEITX 7E EXA.TIvE +68 68
#note damn, this is phony. I thought it was both this an EXAPTIVE, but its just that. I saw EXPIATE as well, so this wasn't intentional.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AEGM 8L MEGA +37 53
>Jackson: ABBESSU 10H SUBBASE +78 146
#note crazy
>Chloe_Fatsis: AEY 11J AYE +32 85
>Jackson: EGGITYZ J10 ..GGY +20 166
#note I didn't see YEZ 6E, which might be better. I feel like that's slightly better for win% but worse for spread.
>Chloe_Fatsis: HU 6I UH +28 113
>Jackson: EEIPPTZ E6 P.PTIZE +40 206
#note Given our history of me phonying her and her holding SUBBASE for a while, I really liked the odds of her challenging this. I considered PIPET 6C to set up 8a Z plays, but between those getting blocked and the challenge upside, I like this better. ZIPPY, PEPTIZE, and PIPET are all fairly close in a sim, but again this had the added bonus.
>Chloe_Fatsis: ENNRRRT - +0 113
#note a very reasonable challenge given our game history and the score right now
>Jackson: AEELQTU 12A QUEL.A +50 256
>Chloe_Fatsis: DDI 13C DID +40 153
>Jackson: ?EHIORT O1 THIOuRE. +83 339
>Chloe_Fatsis: AJR 5I JAR +36 189
>Jackson: EIKLMNR 10B KIL.M +27 366
#note It was around now that I heard Joe won by 86, so I needed a 155 point win to win the tournament.
>Chloe_Fatsis: AIVV H2 VIVA +25 214
>Jackson: EINORTU A12 .UIN +39 405
>Chloe_Fatsis: EFLOOTT 9M FE +23 237
>Jackson: EFNNORT 3H .NTRON +14 419
#note moment of truth. Up 168, I'm really up 14 here. Definitely might want to play F(A)NO G6 to try and seal the deal, but I liked this defense after her moderate fishing. going "up" by 28 here is also pretty good, since the board is bad for a comeback. I think this is good
>Chloe_Fatsis: ADT 4L DAT. +18 255
>Jackson: CEFOORS F5 FO. +21 440
>Chloe_Fatsis: DNO B12 .NDO +25 280
#note cool play, especially cause of past and present
>Jackson: CEEIORS O10 SOIREE +33 473
#note this puts me up 39, which I think will be hard to overcome, even if I draw clunkily
>Chloe_Fatsis: ELNT N12 LENT +18 298
>Jackson: CINOORW 13G COR.I +12 485
#note AEONIC is the best endgame. this is not a very good endgame but gets the job done
>Chloe_Fatsis: ALRS 2L RAS. +21 319
>Jackson: NOW H13 .WN +18 503
#note obviously WONK but I was only 99% sure
>Chloe_Fatsis: L H12 L... +8 327
#note Chloe was very poised about the bagging. Congrats on 1800
>Chloe_Fatsis: (O) +2 329
