Player 1
#player1 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
#player2 Eric_Goldstein Eric Goldstein
>Jonathan_Lindh: ANNORTX 8H TAXON +26 26
#note Okay, first sizable mistake of the tourney. I missed NONTAX. TAXON plays are second best to the NONTAX plays.
>Eric_Goldstein: AEINRTV H1 ANTIVER. +86 86
>Eric_Goldstein: AEINRTV -- -86 0
#note This one is easy to mix up. ANTEVERT is the right spelling. VEX is probably correct here.
>Jonathan_Lindh: FGLNORV 7I FOG +32 58
#note I spent a lot of time here trying to make sure I didn't give a bingo back. This seems ok at least.
>Eric_Goldstein: AEINRTV 6J VAR +39 39
>Jonathan_Lindh: DELLNRU - +0 58
#note Exchange 4 keeping RED. I was hesistant to throw the board open on this play because I knew Eric had a partial leave of TRAIN. Debatable.
>Eric_Goldstein: ACINRTU 9E CUTIN +18 57
#note This was Ed's actual rack based on his previous two turns. He had H8 TACITURN for 83 and 9C CURTAIN for 73 which NULLED would have blocked without giving a bingo back.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDEHLRR 10F HE +28 86
#note LEHR 10H is best. This is shaky.
>Eric_Goldstein: ?AEILOT 11G ALOETIc +65 122
#note M7 ISOLATE is 78.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDLRRSV J10 V.LD +16 102
#note Best.
>Eric_Goldstein: ABOTU 12C ABOUT +18 140
>Jonathan_Lindh: DIJNRRS 14F JIRDS +42 144
#note Best.
>Eric_Goldstein: AENTW L1 WANTE. +26 166
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEHNRRS 1L .HEN +30 174
#note 2J CHARR for 32 is clearly best. Another mistake.
>Eric_Goldstein: QU 2J QU. +32 198
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACDIRRS 2J ...IS +37 211
>Eric_Goldstein: BI 13C BI +20 218
>Jonathan_Lindh: AACDERR 14B CAD +23 234
#note I debated between this and RAD in the same spot. This scored a little more and offered fewer hooks.
>Eric_Goldstein: PY H13 P.Y +24 242
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAEMNRR 13J .RAM +14 248
#note M5 RAM for 17 uses these same letters for 3 more.
>Eric_Goldstein: GIM 14L MIG +20 262
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAENNRZ 9L AZAN +25 273
#note Probably best. I also was concerned Eric had S? at this point so this was a block of the MIG(S) hook.
>Eric_Goldstein: EOOPR O4 OPERO. +27 289
>Jonathan_Lindh: ELNORSW N4 NOW +33 306
#note This or LOW in the same spot.
>Eric_Goldstein: ?EEKLRT A8 KELTERs +89 378
#note Only bingo. Devastating. This would be the first of many opponent bingos in clutch endgame situations.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ELORSUY 8A .EY +10 316
#note Trying to set up an S bingo lane and hope to draw an unblockable rack. Not sure what the best play is here. Pretty bleak.
>Eric_Goldstein: EF C6 FE. +10 388
#note SOILURES blocked.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ILORSSU 15M SOL +17 333
#note Out of time. 15K SILOS for 32 is best.
>Eric_Goldstein: DEEEGII D4 GIED +20 408
>Jonathan_Lindh: IRSU 4B RU. +4 337
#note 3 off 15C SIR.
>Eric_Goldstein: EEI M1 ..E +16 424
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: IS J2 .IS +12 349
#note Out of time. 15C SI for 17 is best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (EI) +4 353
#note I went over by a few seconds so the correct score should have been 424-343 instead of 422-339. I didn't play this game quite as well as the last one, but still no missed bingos and my biggest mistake was a miss of a hard to see six (NONTAX). It would get worse from here. Much worse.
