>Lou_Cornelis: MY H7 MY +14 14
>Arie_Sinke: BEEGPTU G6 PUB +20 20
#note TUBE in the same spot for the same score looks like an improvement here. The P is a significant asset because of UMP.
>Lou_Cornelis: ENP I7 PEN +27 41
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEGIT 10F GIED +17 37
#note Several reasonable options sim closely here. The sim winner is the simple point-grabbing play of DATE F7, which I eschewed. TAE F7 may be an improvement on DATE; scores 5 less but the D is a huge asset. AGE F8 is more of a fish; I eschewed that too because of AGEE being a threat. This play attempts to compromise between score and leave while keeping the board fairly tight, and I'm fine with it.
>Lou_Cornelis: FIRS J4 RIFS +23 64
>Arie_Sinke: ACEOSTV 4G OVE.CAST +84 121
#note I should play OVERACTS here, as OVERCAST takes an S. I was under the incorrect impression that it didn't take an S.
>Lou_Cornelis: EVX N1 VEX. +28 92
>Arie_Sinke: ?EKLNRT L2 pL.NKTER +62 183
#note This is the only bingo, and it's slightly better than a few temporizing plays like REST M2, I think.
>Lou_Cornelis: DIJR 8K J.RID +39 131
>Arie_Sinke: BDHIRTY 3C BRITH +37 220
#note HYBRID in the same spot scores 2 more and may be a very marginal improvement. DY is a good scoring leave here, but T is also okay, and two extra points are always a good thing. I didn't see HYBRID. This is better than BIRTH to avoid setting up 4A-D.
>Lou_Cornelis: MU O2 MU +17 148
>Arie_Sinke: DEGILSY H10 .DGILY +39 259
#note This looks best.
>Lou_Cornelis: AORZ D3 .AZOR +28 176
>Arie_Sinke: DEHISTT N7 D.THEIST +90 349
#note This looks best.
>Lou_Cornelis: AAEFNOO E5 ANE +32 208
>Arie_Sinke: AAFGOUU 1M O.A +33 382
#note I did consider GUACO K1 here but eschewed it because setting up 1D-K seems unwise with a large lead; a play with the Q on D4 followed by another bingo would get Lou right back in the game. Granted, the board is fairly open and there are other spots for bingos, so it may not be a game changer.
>Lou_Cornelis: INSW 8A WINS +40 248
>Arie_Sinke: AFGOUUW 13J FUGU. +18 400
#note Same idea as last turn; I'm unwilling to play GUACO K1 for the ING ending bingos. Here AOW is probably a better leave than FUW anyhow. FUGUS does very badly in a sim, though; not sure why.
>Lou_Cornelis: AIL K8 .AIL +24 272
>Arie_Sinke: ?AANOOW 14E AWO. +15 415
#note No clue what to do here. This is probably reasonable but sims are unhelpful
>Lou_Cornelis: AT 2B TA +8 280
>Arie_Sinke: ?ANNOOO 1A NANO +22 437
#note Again, not sure exactly what to do, but this is probably reasonable. Maybe NOO 1C for 9 to give myself a better chance of bingoing?
>Lou_Cornelis: ACEIR 15A ERICA +32 312
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEOOOQ M12 Q.Ey +25 462
#note Missed B11 QuEER for 26. A three point endgame error.
>Lou_Cornelis: EEL O6 LE.E +10 322
>Lou_Cornelis: (EOOO) +8 330
