>Arie_Sinke: BIIRSTV 8D VIBIST +30 30
#note Looks good, no point sacrificing points to keep the S here.
>Stefan_Fatsis: UX 7G XU +36 36
>Arie_Sinke: AEEIRTZ F8 .IZE +35 65
#note Or BIZ to create the E hook for myself - I'm more comfortable with the extra point and the stronger leave of AERT.
>Stefan_Fatsis: EOW E11 WOE +22 58
>Arie_Sinke: AAEEIRT 10F .AIRE +16 81
#note This is actually pretty poor, it bingos far less than fishes that keep something like AEIRT. Sim says I should play AE G10 for 19. I just really don't care for 3v2c leaves, as they can lead to trouble with vowel draws and multiple consecutive low scoring turns, but I should probably overcome my aversion to these leaves in some cases. ZAIRE also sets up an S hook that I don't have. This sims 13 points back (?!) - not sure it's that bad but it isn't best either.
>Stefan_Fatsis: CERTU 11I ERUCT +18 76
>Arie_Sinke: AADEERT 13B DEA.RATE +72 153
#note Looks best.
>Stefan_Fatsis: FHL D12 H.LF +38 114
>Arie_Sinke: ?NNOORV 15A ROO. +21 174
#note NONVOTeR M6 for 80 is my seventh (!) missed bingo of this tournament. Other plays that keep reasonable leaves and don't block the F sim better, but I apparently have no ability to forgo blocking. Didn't think about this one for long enough.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AADENOT L8 ANE.DOTA +76 190
>Arie_Sinke: ?LNNUUV 15H UVUL. +24 198
#note Looks best.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AAP M11 .APA +25 215
>Arie_Sinke: ?DEGMNN 6H MENDiNG +71 269
#note I liked this better than MENDiNG at 6H for 75 because AMENDING and EMENDING are so huge. However, my play also sets up an S, so it also has a liability. The two plays sim close.
>Stefan_Fatsis: ADLLNOR B6 LANDLOR. +64 279
>Arie_Sinke: CFHJPQS 8K C.PHS +36 305
#note This looks like it's worth doing instead of exchanging, but only because it scores so much. It barely wins a sim. It partially blocks MENDINGS, but at this point I don't really know whether that's an asset or a liability, as I have an S.
>Stefan_Fatsis: AIN A6 ANI +19 298
>Arie_Sinke: ?BFGJOQ -BFGJOQ +0 305
#note Probably worth it to play JO N14 here. 38 points is a lot to give up for an uncertain bingo with the blank. I don't remember if I saw it, but I think I didn't, because all I was thinking about was how GOJI wasn't worth it.
>Stefan_Fatsis: EEGISST -3 +0 298
>Arie_Sinke: ?EINTYY G12 Y.Y +9 314
#note I don't know what to do here; Quackle thinks I should take the points with N12 YETI for 32, which seems reasonable. YAY bingos 80% of the time, and when I bingo I think I generally will go on to win, as counter bingos are fairly unlikely with a less good pool. I should probably be bearing in mind that I am more likely than usual to draw the J or the Q here, as I just exchanged them and Stefan has only pulled three tiles from the bag after his exchange. I think this is probably not the right way to go, but it worked.
>Stefan_Fatsis: JO N14 JO +38 336
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEINST O1 TENIaSE. +85 399
#note Or TEnNISES or cENTESIS.
>Stefan_Fatsis: GO N8 .OG +11 347
>Arie_Sinke: BEIMOQW N2 WEB +32 431
#note I couldn't see any available bingo with the pool. Turns out FRISKET 5C is a possibility, so I should probably block that with BIOME 5I for 35, or BOWMEN J1, which is helpful for playing the Q next turn. WEB is the best spread play, but those are the two plays that win 100% of the time.
>Stefan_Fatsis: EIIKRST 5E KITER +26 373
>Arie_Sinke: FGIMOQ 5L QI +23 454
#note GIF 6D is a better play to block IS and score 11 more.
>Stefan_Fatsis: IS 6E IS +14 387
>Stefan_Fatsis: (FGMO) +20 407
