I thought SLAT(HE)R was better than (G)RAIL/(Q)I/(A)L given that I'm in deep doodoo vis-a-vis the wall that has formed in the center of the board. Sim of course likes GRAIL 4 better.

#note Pretty bleak here. I thought that tile conservation and scoreboard-value-for-tile-value were fair considerations given the deficit and the state of the board. Also I just didn't see anything at all but had been eyeing this spot for a few turns. L7 GA(U)D is cool. SLUGA(BE)D is reeeally cool and exactly what I needed here and I actually know the word but I'm just not going to find that kind of play very often.
