Game 5
This was the first game after lunch.
WUZ is just boring but almost certainly better.

#note I feel like tile/board conservation is a valid line here. I don't see how my situation can improve all that much after AAH or EAU plays.
With one more EE than AA unseen I tend to keep A...
>David_Whitley: AI?NRTV D6 VA.NTIeR +70 180
>Stefan_Kac: AAACLPR I9 CAL +34 95
#note CALPA#. I see ALPACA here but not in column c, where it is probably better than what I did but not better than CALPA.
I draw into CARPALE/(ID)E if I keep E instead of A. Fml.
>David_Whitley: OMY 12K YOM +22 202
>Stefan_Kac: AAIBPRS 13L BAP +24 119
#note Sorry to repeat myself, but this really is one of the more confusing sims I have run recently. Just BA keeping AIPRS scores 6 less but sims 8 ahead of BAP. Sim has BA bingoing 48% to 39% for BAP. I've seen BAPU but overlooked it here. Is it really worth this much? And I would think BAP is like 10% harder to underlap in row fourteen than BA would be? Sim also loves PIA keeping ABRS even though PIA is more hookable than BAP and the difference in bingo% is negligible. Obviously sim has not considered that YOM doesn't exactly scream either ess or queue-you, but even that can't account for the values here.
I will however drink to H11 BRAAI# as a less aggressive option that nonetheless does create a useful opening. Do know the word but knowing ain't seeing.

>Stefan_Kac: AAEIRRS 14L ARE +24 143
#note Sim really wants 14M AIR. With all those EEs still out there I don't know how you sacrifice 5 points to keep an E here, killing the fork and giving back a non-ess hook that helps opp eat your lunch. I'm stubborn enough to stick to this line even after the CARPAL draw.

>Stefan_Kac: AEIORST 15G OARIEST +87 230
#note I have seen ARET# earlier in the day but just don't have it in me to slap it down here even though the difference in longterm board dynamics is significant. This is why I used to sip beer during games.
>David_Whitley: IW J13 IW. +14 268
>Stefan_Kac: AEOUGHT 14A GAE +20 250
#note ...and here I really, really need to know (BAP)U#. Or CID(E)#. At least I know EE. In NWL this would be a reeeally tough spot...
>David_Whitley: OY 15A OY +33 301
>Stefan_Kac: IOUHNST 14G UH +14 264
#note Again settling for boilerplate NWL stuff.

>David_Whitley: DHRT 3K D.RTH +18 401

#note This is actually pretty good. F6 N(EWE)D# is interesting, but I probably don't want to restrict row five like that.
>David_Whitley: AQT N6 QAT +34 435
>Stefan_Kac: IOUDNRS 7C D. +5 360
#note Nothing sophisticated here, just figured it was worth a shot. I can't hit anything in rows 1 or 5 after this fish, so I'm not sure why sim thinks I have such a better chance to win by dropping the D at F14.
