#player1 Timothy_Bottorff Timothy Bottorff
#player2 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
>Timothy_Bottorff: CMY 8G MYC +20 20
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAADDLU G6 DU.A +9 9
#note Best play. The best equity plays I8 CAUDAL and I7 ACAUDAL give back too many points at H12.
>Timothy_Bottorff: ASZ J6 ZAS +43 63
>Jonathan_Lindh: AADDELR K5 DAD +24 33
#note Best play. I debated between this and LAD in the same spot. LAD would have worked out better because of what you are about to see.
>Timothy_Bottorff: DGOS L4 DOGS +32 95
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEELRTV I8 .REVALET +65 98
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEELRTV -- -65 33
#note Terrible mistake. I butchered the spelling of CERVELAT. Tim apprently had an 80 point blank bingo through this so he didn't challenge immediately.
>Timothy_Bottorff: GI I8 .IG +7 102
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEELRTV M1 VELAR +23 56
#note H1 VELATE for 33 is now best.
>Timothy_Bottorff: CHW 2K CH.W +24 126
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEJLOTU F2 JOULE +35 91
#note Best play.
>Timothy_Bottorff: ?BEHIRS E6 BuSHIER +78 204
#note N4 BEaRISH scores 80 and is the highest scoring and simming bingo but BuSHIER seems more defensive. Can't go wrong with BuSHIER in my opinion. Tim is 90.88% to win now.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEPRTTW 8A WARP. +39 130
#note 8A TREWS for 36 sims a little better because it opens better quality floaters but the win% between that and WARPS and WRAPS is very close.
>Timothy_Bottorff: GU D8 .UG +14 218
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEEIITT -EEIIT +0 130
#note 1M VEE or 2D EEJIT may be worth is but my play is within 1% of those. Perfectly defensible.
>Timothy_Bottorff: OX 1M .OX +44 262
#note VEE prevents that of course.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EFMNOQT 4C TOQ.E +28 158
#note Best play.
>Timothy_Bottorff: ?ELNRSU B6 gR.NULES +59 321
#note B7 LAUNDERS for 68 is the best bingo here but Quackle likes forgoing the bingo with H1 LUNS for 31 by a slight amount. Bingoing seems fine to me.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEFKMNO A12 FAKE +56 214
#note Best play.
>Timothy_Bottorff: BIOT 12D O.BIT +16 337
>Jonathan_Lindh: EMNNNOO G1 NON. +17 231
#note Debated between NOME and NONE in this spot and went with NONE because MENO seemed like a more favorable leave than NENO.
>Timothy_Bottorff: AET H1 ATE +28 365
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEMNORT 13G TONEARM +77 308
#note I've missed this one once or twice in the past so it was satisfying to get this one down.
>Timothy_Bottorff: EY 12K YE +19 384
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIIINPT C2 IN.I +8 316
#note C2 NITTIER for 20 is the play. I'm probably toast no matter what given the bad pool.
>Timothy_Bottorff: ER 11J ER +16 400
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIILPTV C13 PIT +20 336
#note B2 PI is best but there are no wins.
>Timothy_Bottorff: AEFINOT 14I OF +28 428
#note N5 ENTIA for 12 is by far the best play because it blocks LIVE/EVIL etc. plays the best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIILV N5 EVIL +20 356
#note N4 LEV is 3 better than my play.
>Timothy_Bottorff: AEINT O7 TINEA +23 451
#note Best play.
>Timothy_Bottorff: (I) +2 453
#note Misspelling CERVELAT was terrible but given Tim had a bingo in waiting I may have been toast no matter what. I thought I played the first two games pretty well for not playing tournament Scrabble in over 2 years but I was 0-2 -168 at this point so there is still work to be done.
