>Josh_Sokol: AABGHOX H6 HOAX +28 28
#note it would seem to be hard to argue with the result of this opening position sim, which puts my placement in dead heat with the one one spot lower, but playing GOX was definitely an idea to complicate the game a bit while shedding a small amount of blood. #questionable
>Sebastian_Knowles: DEIMMU I5 MEDIUM +36 36
#note Sebastian did the "reach for my 7th tile after putting down a 6-letter noun" trick here. I felt like Kobe when he refused to flinch that one time at the baseline.
>Josh_Sokol: ABGLOOQ 5I .OBLOG +22 50
>Sebastian_Knowles: DEJY J4 J.YED +49 85
#note oof
>Josh_Sokol: ADINOOQ -QOODIAN +0 50
#note L3 ON(L)OAD is possible here to attempt to rid myself of the Q next turn with M2 QI. Otherwise, 6M NOO or 6L ONO make life very difficult for Seb with most racks. I was quite regretful of this decision to go for turnover over optimality. #strategymedium
>Sebastian_Knowles: EHILNRU M2 UNH.LIER +76 161
>Josh_Sokol: AEPSTTY 8L Y.TT +33 83
#note L8 PEATY (or PATTY, which I failed to consider) are also possible here. #questionable
>Sebastian_Knowles: ?AAEKLQ 4L E. +14 175
>Josh_Sokol: AEGPPST O1 PEAGS +42 125
>Sebastian_Knowles: ER L8 .ER +8 183
>Josh_Sokol: ACFNPTZ K9 FACT +26 151
#note Seb took a piece of scrap paper and started writing down the bingos on his rack, which if the last plays already weren't an indication of rack strength, knowing his exact rack + or - a blank definitely helped me not play F(U)Z(E) 2L.
>Sebastian_Knowles: EEINRRT 12K .RITE +12 195
#note saw the cool play of N5 (G)IT(T)ERN since I knew his rack
>Josh_Sokol: DLNNNPZ -DNNP +0 151
#note figured going for an O for ZON(U)L(E) 2J was worth it.
>Sebastian_Knowles: CE N8 .EC +18 213
>Josh_Sokol: IKLNSWZ 11E WINKS +36 187
#note wasn't sure about this calculus. I'm still somewhat fishing for ZONULE, digging for a blank, I can also draw (K)LUTZ H11 or something, and there aren't too many E's left to help the rack leave of LINKS after W(I)Z, which I honestly almost played without much ado. His tiles are probably bingo-ey, so he doesn't necessarily respond well to this? Quackle thinks of this as a 4-point error #questionable
>Sebastian_Knowles: ORVW G3 VROW +27 240
>Josh_Sokol: BDELSTZ O11 B.ZEL +48 235
>Sebastian_Knowles: ?EEGIRS 14H EnERGIS. +70 310
>Josh_Sokol: ?AADNST 15D ANSATeD +83 318
#note does this count as 3 overlaps even though (n)e scores 0?
>Sebastian_Knowles: AOP 10E APO +28 338
>Josh_Sokol: AFIILOR 13B AIRFOIL +75 393
#note the wait on his time was very agonizing, but I somehow drew this and got to play it.
>Sebastian_Knowles: U L12 .U. +4 342
>Josh_Sokol: AINNOOV 14B ANION +34 427
#note I spent most of the time Sebastian was thinking to try and calculate the endgame if he played QUE(A)N for 68. It looked scary. I didn't get that far before he made a play that didn't win the game. Lucky to somehow escape this one. Funny thing is that if I draw the Q, it's almost impossible for him to block Q(AID), but I outrun TI(PI) anyway.
>Sebastian_Knowles: ADEIQTU 2H QUIET.D. +40 382
#note beautiful find.
>Josh_Sokol: NOV E9 V.. +9 436
>Sebastian_Knowles: A D12 A... +8 390
>Sebastian_Knowles: (NO) +4 394
#note exchanging 7 was a terrible mistake that should have cost me the game.
