>Noah_Walton: EEGNORX 8C EXOGEN +44 44
>Mack_Meller: ?BELNNU 7G BUNN +19 19
#note MM: Spent a long time here looking for a nonexistent bingo. Could also do C7 BEN for a better score but felt LUN? had a good chance of not bingoing on my next turn. 7A UNBE seems unnecessary at this point. BUNN looks okay.
>Noah_Walton: EFNRRST E4 REFR.NTS +94 138
>Mack_Meller: ?ELOQUY K4 QUEY +42 61
>Noah_Walton: CHMNOTV C7 V.TCH +18 156
#note Sim prefers VENOM, to keep a much stronger leave. It may give Mack strong responses, but I think I often have good counter responses. This is possibly still better -- it feels like VENOM helps Mack a bit with comebacks.
>Mack_Meller: ?DILORS H7 ..DeRSOIL +80 141
#note Held and released.
>Noah_Walton: DEIMNOR L1 MODI +42 198
>Mack_Meller: AAFILOT D10 OAF +23 164
#note MM: Didn't see 2I AFLOAT, considered mainly OAF and D1 FLOAT. Felt AI was a bit dangerous as a leave given the pool was already starting to lean vowel-heavy, and AILT has decent bingo potential with the floaters open here, so OAF looks decent.
>Noah_Walton: AEINPRT 14C PAINT.ER +64 262
#note I did see the higher-scoring bingos, but decided to try something more defensive here -- which also opened a scoring spot, which might help me. On such an open board, I don't know that this really helps me that much. Sim does prefer PRETRAIN. Looking at the details, this doesn't change things that much -- TERRAPIN is actually more defensive in terms of opponent's next-turn average score, though has a somewhat higher Std. Dev. PRETRAIN's Std. Dev. is about 5 higher than PAINTIER's.
>Mack_Meller: ABILNST 15B NIB +19 183
#note MM: This is cute and probably fine just because of how impossible it is to block, but might not be necessary. I considered 8K SABIN, which gets me within 60 and opens more lines -- not the worst position. With NIB, if Noah has the last S or blank, the game is basically over, whereas they don't automatically end the game after SABIN. Another option is 15A BLAIN, which I missed. That keeps ST which has decent potential to bingo one of the next few turns. If I'm down 150 instead of 100 I think NIB is 100% correct, if I'm down 50 instead of 100 either SABIN or BLAIN is 100% correct. Being down 100 is kind of that sweet spot where I think going either way is defensible.
>Noah_Walton: AAAIIMO 1L .OMI +24 286
#note Yeah, four vowels is bad, I should probably just do MOIRAI. Playing too scared of 3x3s, maybe.
>Mack_Meller: AIILRST A9 LIATRIS +92 275
>Noah_Walton: AAAIPTV D1 VITA +26 312
>Mack_Meller: ACKLRSY 1D .ALKYR +48 323
#note MM: Saw 2K COKY, but SC is much better than SLAR here, since I want to be going for a big S---- play with QUEYS, not a bingo. There are not a lot of cook places to bingo with SLAR here, especailly after COKY.
>Noah_Walton: ?AAEPTU 2L .PA +22 334
#note Hm, KAPU looks pretty strong here as well.
>Mack_Meller: CDEGHSZ 10G G.EZ +33 356
#note MM: CDHS is surprisingly good here because of its potential to hit the QUEYS spot given the vowel heavy pool.
>Noah_Walton: ?AAEETU 3L .ATE +25 359
#note Ooh, AVER 7B might be the play I was looking for here, setting up the nice lane, keeping a nice lane, and keeping a very valuable T.
>Mack_Meller: CDHLOSU 8K SCUDO +50 406
#note MM: Didn't actually see SCHUL, but SCUDO looks better anyway. The pool is awful and already contains U, D, and O so giving them back as floaters is less concerning than an H and L, which go fairly well with the pool (especially the L). If I score 50, the main way I'm losing this game is if Noah bingos, so SCUDO looks best. I could consider something like C2 OUCH, but I feel like that could get outrun without a bingo (e.g. some combination of ZA/AJI and QUEYs/sWEDE), and he's so unlikely to bingo through SCUDO anyway, that SCUDO has to be correct.
>Noah_Walton: ?AEEOUW 2B OW.E +16 375
#note Not sure what my best chance is here. Another 7B play, perhaps?
>Mack_Meller: DEEEGHL A1 EDGE +30 436
#note MM: No possible bingos for Noah, so this and many other plays win 100%.
>Noah_Walton: ?AAEJOU 11J AcAJOU +35 410
>Mack_Meller: EHILW 9M HEW +30 466
>Noah_Walton: E 3C E. +14 424
>Noah_Walton: (IL) +4 428
