>Noah_Walton: IIIINUU -IIIUU +0 0
>Mack_Meller: AAJPQRX -QJAX +0 0
#note MM: Quackle unsurprisingly wants PAX or even AJAR, but I'm not bingoing for at least 3 more turns if I do that, which isn't something I wasnt this early in the game especially as Noah and I tend to have very open board. I'd exchange again here every time.
>Noah_Walton: AEEINRU -OOO +0 0
#note Chose to give away no floaters, given Mack's exchange (I actually exchanged AEU here). Quackle prefers keeping AEINR, which seems especially good if Mack is more likely to bingo next turn.

>Noah_Walton: GINOOTZ C7 Z..OING +54 163
>Mack_Meller: EEILNOY E9 .OILY +26 219
#note MM: D12 OILY scores 3 more, but didn't see a good reason to give back the Y as a scoring spot when this board is so bereft of them as is.
>Noah_Walton: ?BOTUVW J2 VOW +27 190
>Mack_Meller: AAEEENT 1H ENATE +28 247

#note Oof, this is a huge error.

>Mack_Meller: ADENNSU 4H ...NED +24 324
#note MM: First of several awkward decisions especially as I was getting low on time. Mainly considered this, AVOWED, and PAWN/NU. With still a small lead and 2 Ss unseen I decided the conservative approach was better. AVOWED opens a dangerous 2x2 lane for SO----- bingoes, and NU could give back huge scoring plays with SH--- and such at L4. In hindsight, my small lead didn't turn out to be very safe, so I perhaps should've done with NU. I'm going to hit SNED next turn, and if Noah does hit a big play there (which is still fairly unlikely) he'll give me an opportunity to bingo back with my AEDNS leave. Going to go with a #strategysmall here.
>Noah_Walton: AEGILMO 1A GAOL +26 325
>Mack_Meller: ABHNSSU 3L HABU +29 353
#note MM: Quickly narrowed my options here to HABU and 2L HUB. Especially with only 1 S unseen not, I think HUB is correct and I once again got too paranoid about setting up S hooks for Noah that he might not have but I already have. HABU puts me up 28, which felt pretty safe on this board, but as will be shown was not safe at all if I have a suboptimal draw. HUB also keeps a vowel which is very important here. #strategymedium I think.
>Noah_Walton: EEIMOUY O1 MO.E +21 346
>Mack_Meller: DLNRSSV G1 S.V +16 369
#note MM: The danger of HABU last turn. I think this is kinda forced.
>Noah_Walton: EHIOTUY 5K UH +23 369
>Mack_Meller: DFLNRSU 10B D. +15 384
#note MM: Getting very low on time here. TEW/WO seemed like it needed to be blocked, and I was still feeling pretty decent after TED and then having an F spot at J6. 6L SURF may be a little better in hindsight, the only things he can have that are disastrous are FEIJOA and FAJITA which are unlikely. I still don't love giving back easy 30 point plays there though especially keeping DNL, which is bad for scoring. Not really sure here.
>Noah_Walton: EIIOSTY 3A TYE +24 393
>Mack_Meller: CFLNRSU 6H ..FS +18 402
#note MM: I was down to under a minute here, and figured I needed to block HEHS/SOJA. Champ says I'm 1/8 to win after REFS, only if I draw the S. Best is A5 FLU(ID) which wins 2/8, when I draw either the A or the O. Hard to infer much from TYE other than that Noah didn't have the W, so FLUID seems right. Several other things are also 1/8.
>Noah_Walton: AEIIJOS 4A OE +15 408
>Mack_Meller: CLNRUW 10H .RC +11 413
#note MM: Nothing wins here, I was down to <30 seconds and played this immediately, since I knew I was toast if AJI came down.
>Noah_Walton: AIIJS I10 .AJ +10 418
>Mack_Meller: LNUW M2 W.. +7 420
#note MM: I was down to ~15 seconds now and had no time to do the math, but I did think he was I stuck here and that I had a chance to pull it out...
>Noah_Walton: IIS F13 SI +12 430
>Mack_Meller: LNU A7 L.. +4 424
#note MM: Down to <10 seconds, I don't even see LUN/SIN, which happens to lose by 1 anyway. But again, now I think I'm definitely winning as he's I stuck and I go out with JUN next turn. LID first instead of JUN, of course, as JUN gives him IN.
>Noah_Walton: I - +0 430
#note And this, folks, is how two of the best Scrabble players in the country both missed QI for 11 as an outplay. Not that I could've blocked it anyway, but still, I didn't even see it. Crazy stuff. I finally noticed about 2 minutes after the game ended and pointed it out to Noah, and we were both pretty flabbergasted.
>Mack_Meller: NU 12I .UN +10 434
#note MM: Definitely up there on my list of games I won that I had absolutely no business winning.
>Mack_Meller: (I) +2 436
