>Jackson: FIJPRST -FJP +0 0
#note considered that IPRST might be better than IRST, but I wonder if that still holds given he may try and give back fewer vowels after an x2. still wins a sim by a couple, so it's probably a mistake
>Noah: BEELLTT 8F BLET +12 12
#note Also considered BETEL. I think an exchange from Jackson should tilt me closer to this, but the plays could be close.
>Jackson: EINRSTZ F8 .IZ +34 34
#note ZIBET tempting for the S setup and not giving the E hook, but NERST is too monstrous
>Noah: DEGILTU 11A GUILTED +83 95
>Jackson: AENRSTW A7 TWAN.ERS +89 123
>Noah: ADFIINQ B6 QI +33 128
>Jackson: FIMNOSS C6 INFO +24 147
#note liked this over SOM, FOINS, FINOS cause it sets up the S with QIS, and the two Ss will be useful because of that
>Noah: AADFINN D10 F.AN +14 142
#note The sim seems to prefer 12C FA by a bit.
>Jackson: EKMOSSY 14A .MOKEY +58 205
#note saw SMOKEYS but wasn't certain of it in the first place, and then was wondering if it was one of the many EY/IE words that are still good now but no longer take an S. Getting the FLANK hook almost felt like affirmation that 14a smokey, which I was already considering, was to be played
>Noah: ADEEINP 15F APE +20 162
>Jackson: AAHHRSS 15B AHS +30 235
#note or d3 HAHS for the S setup, but I liked this to not give back such parallels and keep the S for QIS, and AHRS works really well with the H and I columns. sims best
>Noah: DEIINVV I11 VIVID +23 185
#note Maybe VIVE to go for bingos? I'm still not sure how to make these calls. Sim likes my play, but I'm not that sure.
>Jackson: AACHRRS D1 CHARRS +40 275
#note lots of interesting options here. I didn't consider CHARAS or ARA(BIZE) or SAR(I) or (N)ARC, and really only considered VAR, CHARS, and CHARRS. CHARAS looks definitely better than CHARRS, with a slightly vowel heavy pool especially. plays like NARC or SARI are usually more my style with this kind of lead, but with the BLET spot open I didn't see a longterm defensive future for this board, so I didn't mind blowing the top open a bit now to increase my outrunning chances, and go for the blanks. Q likes all the shorter plays a bit better than CHARAS or CHARS, though it's fairly close. CHARS is also more worth considering than I thought, it does give back quite a bit less, so it's not just paranoia. I think the S is too important here to part with, since it can be used defensively and recursively. ARABIZE is interesting cause CHRS works so well with the A I open, even just for double doubles, but it does have a lot of risk in Noah hitting the A, or me drawing too many consonants. I can see playing CHARAS or CHARS again... the shorter plays all seem to have a lot of downsides. VAR wins a sim, but it just looks so weird. I bingo and score a ton, and there are only a few hooks left, but I can't imagine making that play.
>Noah: ADEMNRT 2A ANT.EM +34 219
#note Tough play to make -- maybe I'm better off doing something like DIM. Quackle kind of likes MARC.
>Jackson: ?ACENST 1D .oENACTS +88 363
>Noah: ?BDEERU 5D .UBbERED +90 309
>Jackson: DEGOUXY 6H DEX +57 420
#note missed A1 EAUX, which is way better.
>Noah: IJOORUW A1 J.W +39 348
>Jackson: EGOOTUY 3F OUTGO +14 434
>Noah: AINOORU 13C O.O +20 368
>Jackson: EELOPRY C2 .YE +24 458
>Noah: AAILNRU 2H RIA +19 387
#note ULNAD looks pretty nice here. Would've copped some more spread.
>Jackson: EIILOPR 9H LIRIOPE +68 526
