>Jackson: BIMOOVY H8 BOOMY +32 32
>Noah: EHIIOTY 11H .YTHOI +28 28
>Jackson: ADGIMVZ I7 VIM +26 58
#note Missed GIZN(O), only saw this and ZAID(Y), and figured the leave was too clunky to justify, despite keeping the ZAG reparallel. GIZMO and VIM sim pretty close together, but I think I would have played GIZMO had I seen it. VIM is just very defensive, but the Z can work well with the Y in BOOMY and other parallels.
>Noah: AEHIOQW 10M QI +24 52
#note I wondered about playing WAHOO here. The S hook after QI seems bad for me, but I also felt I would often have Q troubles after WAHOO. AEHOW is nothing special, but seems to have some middling scoring potential on this board. My sim prefers WAHOO.
>Jackson: ADGLSTZ O7 ZAGS +54 112
#note GLAZY is temptin to be aggressive, but QI keeps an S sometimes and ZAGS starts locking things down with a healthy lead
>Noah: AEHOPSW G6 WHOP +34 86
#note Wasn't actually 100% on POM -- even now, on October 24th, I don't think I've given the list of expurgated words a thorough look, but POM is different from POMMIE and POMMY, which were expurgated.
>Jackson: DLTTUUV -DTUUV +0 112
#note I didn't see UVUL(A), which I think I'd play. Although it has some defensive merit for making the top right a bit harder to access (also preventing J column plays that open S hooks), the H column is gonna make the top right fairly hard to close. I was tempted to keep nothing or just an L to go for blanks and Ss with many out, but I figure he plays at H1 or even F2 fairly often, and LT will be useful then. I think just L is probably fine too, for the 12 row.
>Noah: AEIORSX 12K OX +41 127
>Jackson: ACEELTU 12D CUTE. +20 132
#note even though I'm down, I wasn't a big fan of ACUTELY or ELUATE, throwing things open. There aren't that many good options on the board, and the F and H column give a lot back to the opponent in terms of bingoes, so I'd rather force him to make those plays (the 13 row is a place to play, but there are only 3 Os out). I'm definitely okay with this play, it's usually my style to air defensively on already shut down boards
>Noah: ?AEIRSS F1 fRAISES +72 199
>Jackson: ADEEILW 1D WI.ED +36 168
#note considered ALEWI(f)E, but I liked that WIFED opened a marginal 2 row lane that I could hit down the line, whereas ALEWIFE lets the top right get shut down more with E column parallels.
>Noah: AABELRT E4 BETA +32 231
#note I didn't see some decent options here: BLAE E3 and TABLEAU E6. Those seem reasonable, and each play has several different aspects. I kind of don't like opening the S hook with BETA, as it allows Jackson to score while opening lanes, but I'm not really sure what's best here.
>Jackson: AAEIKLT F10 KA.A +18 186
#note was looking for a play like AKE(BI)A, but sort of forgot about that word.
>Noah: ACEELRU 13I CUE +14 245
#note Burning a point to block some KATAS bingos. Not sure -- maybe I should be a BETAS blocker instead.
>Jackson: ?EFILPT J9 EF. +22 208
#note opening more top right threats
>Noah: ADEELRU 4C RU..ED +22 267
>Jackson: ?EILPTV C3 P.IVET +24 232
>Noah: AAAELOR 3H AREOLA +17 284
#note nice exhaustion Noah: Didn't love this play, but didn't feel great about anything else.
>Jackson: ?ELNRRT 5A TR.N.. +8 240
#note I was getting low on time at this point, and TRINES looked like the most aggressive option, even if it has the downside of giving back occasional outrunning scores for him. however, it really forces him to block the T, and it's not like he gets a ton with the T in that position. The bigger issue is that he's often just leaving me with the marginal lanes, 14 and 5 row, and KLM columns, which don't score a ton. LUNT is another option, or RENT/HOER. Those are definitely safer on the outrunning side, though if he has an S it's basically game over
>Noah: ADDINNN A5 .ANNIN +18 302
#note I saw NANDIN, but I'm not sure I considered playing it on B7. Kind of interesting.
>Jackson: ?ELLNRS 5H SNELLeR +66 306
#note considered KNOLLERS too but wasn't 100% on it. may be more defensive, but I'm still down tempo and leaving 4 in the bag for him, which is pretty good for his position, so I don't mind a bit more variance where I can outscore if I outdraw him.
>Noah: DDEGILT E11 D.D +19 321
#note Thought a bit about this play. I looked a good amount for setups on column E. For a while, I was considering LUTE, but LUTEA made me decide against it. Leaving two in the bag and scoring with DUD seems nice.
>Jackson: AFIJNOU 6J FAIN +33 339
#note preferred keeping JOU to JAU here cause of stuff like N1 JOE and JUROR, JOLE 14B. Champ puts FAIN, FOIN, and FA all tied at 94%. I really underestimated my position here, I was low on time and didn't fully calculate much, so I was very worried that I'd lose to a lot of decent out in twos.
>Noah: EGGILRT 2M LEG +10 331
#note 2K GEL for one more
>Jackson: EJOOU B1 JEU +24 363
#note I'm fairly happy with how I played, but it does feel a bit sloppy to miss GIZMO, UVULA, and AKEBIA.
>Noah: GIRT 14J TRIG +18 349
