>skaplan31: CIKLNPR 8H PRICK +36 36
#note Rd 6 Philly virtual 9-5-2021
Standings:
1st me 4-1 +239
2nd Mitchell 3-2 +166
3rd 3-2 +56
4th 3-2 -35
5th 1-4 -120
6th 1-4 -306

Not a whole lot of room for error if I wanna win this tourney. I pretty much have to win to guarantee myself the tourney win. If not, I finish no worse than 3rd.

Due to the situation that I'm in, there's not much of a reason to be extra aggressive or extra conservative knowing I can only lose by up to 36 points and still finish ahead of Mitchell. This looks fine for the most points, but 8H PLINK is also OK for a less polarizing leave.
>DaBag: ABDFINO K5 BAN.O +18 18
#note I guess if Mitchell thought about taking out most of the extentions of PRICK, 7L OF might work. But he's down by a decent margin and does need to open up more. I did not know K8 CONFAB, his highest scoring move.
>skaplan31: ?AELNNY M2 iNANELY +87 123
#note While I did miss M7 LYNcEAN for 2 more, I do like this play much better than anything else I did see- J8 (I)NNAtELY, J8 (I)NsANELY, and I3 mANNE(R)LY due to the right angle I create and not giving him the bottom right quadrant to work with.
>DaBag: ADEFIJU N4 DEF +33 51
#note I do like DEFI in this spot better than DEF. If he wants to keep the best and have the left side be opened up eventually, 9E FUJI is another great option for him.
>skaplan31: EOOSSTT O2 TOOTSES +88 211
#note #visionsolid on this move. Turns out, DEF or DEFI would not have stopped this from playing at O2, and I also had 2H TOOTS(i)ES.
>DaBag: AEIIJOU -AIIJOU +0 51
#note It does suck for him, but exchanging is absolutely correct here.
>skaplan31: EGMNNTV 6J G.N... +14 225
#note I'm all in for mucking up the board as best as I possibly can now, especially when it comes to taking out an easy scoring spot for Mitchell. There's no reason to do J8 INVENT or 2L MINT at this score.
>DaBag: BEGLSUX L2 XU +19 70
#note This play doesn't really make much sense to me. Why would he kill the top right like that when he's chasing this one? I think he needs to do 7G XU here. Many reparallels can happen on Row 6 for him, and he sets up his S nicely with UPS.
>skaplan31: EMNORTV 9G VOE +18 243
#note I don't mind the bad leave when I'm just gonna make life harder for him unless he has an A.
>DaBag: BEGLOSS G9 .LOG +8 78
#note I'm well aware this isn't something he wants to do, but there isn't much of an alternative.
>skaplan31: EMNNRTT 11F T.RMENT +18 261
#note Most blocky and goes thru more tiles. Sim concurs.
>DaBag: ABEEISS 10I AB +26 104
#note I definitely like H11 RIBES better for him.
>skaplan31: DFGIMNW I7 D....ING +15 276
#note This is as open as L11 TWIG, but this doesn't take an S. I also chose this to eliminate a lot of Row 7 bingoes.
>DaBag: EEIIRSS L11 .IE +6 110
>skaplan31: AEEFMRW M13 FEW +28 304
#note If he hits a Column N bingo, lucky him, but he's probably got a nice leave now.
>DaBag: AEIIRSS 15L I.IS +24 134
#note Best for him.
>skaplan31: AACEMRU 14M .MU +20 324
>DaBag: ?AELRRS 13A RAiLERS +74 208
#note Lol figured this might happen!
>skaplan31: AACEEHR A8 REHEA. +30 354
#note Not bad, but A7 REACHER accomplishes the same thing with respect to Column B bingo possibilities and scores 9 more. #findingmedium
>DaBag: AHJOQYZ B12 H.ZY +43 251
#note This or HAJ hoping I don't have an I are both fine, but he's not in good shape.
>skaplan31: ACDDEPT 15A D.AD +33 387
#note I decided to keep my E for Column B bingoes seeing he's probably not going to want to block that while he's down because there's another E left. That's why I chose this over DYED or TYPED in this spot.
>DaBag: AIIJOQW D10 JAI. +22 273
>skaplan31: ACEEIPT B7 CETE +19 406
#note I guess I'll block now.
>DaBag: ILOOQTW E8 TWO +15 288
>skaplan31: AIOPRUV F6 VIA +16 422
#note There was no way to go out in 2 with the unplayable PAVIOUR on this rack. I might as well gain as much spread as possible seeing there's no way I can Q-stick him after looking for some time. Doing F4 PARVO gives him C3 QUIP, and doing F5 ARVO gives him E1 QUAIL. This move limits him to J3 QUAG.
>DaBag: AIILOQU J3 QUA. +18 306
#note Yep, it's his only Q play.
>skaplan31: OPRU J14 OP +11 433
#note Here, I clearly should have done 7B CUP, CUR, or CRU as that's my only way to dump the U. #questionable
>DaBag: IILO 8A ..I +3 309
#note Correct here. I did not know the (TORMENT)IL extention.
>skaplan31: RU 13K R.. +6 439
#note And O12 URUS should have been it here! #visionworse
>DaBag: ILO 7B .OL +9 318
>skaplan31: U - +0 439
>DaBag: I 7M .I. +11 329
#note 2nd consecutive tourney win in the end because only I can reach 5 wins! 7G XU would have helped him out tremendously when he did XU at L2 as the board would have been much harder for me to close at that point (even though I was up by 2 bingoes at that point). But, I got to play something more his style than my style for a lot of the game. Let's keep this streak going.
